I have weirdly shaped feet and they have ALWAYS hurt. Even the most comfortable shoes hurt a little it.
My true size is 10.5 and those can be hard to find. I also have a super high arch, and PF, so when I put my orthotics in many shoes, the high arch lifts my foot right out of the shoe.
Ugh. I love shoes, but hate the fact that I can try 20 pairs on and one feels good.
I must say though, that I have managed to find some cute ones, and do have enough. But none of them are perfect. Nor will any ever be for me.

I feel your pain! I'm 6' tall & wear a men's 12. I have no idea what that is in women's since no place sells them that high!

I can commiserate, my feet are proportionally small, so I'm 5'5" but I have size 6 feet. And I have the calves of someone who is 5'5" with large calves so boots above the ankle almost never fit. I realize there are zipper extenders but I want normal people calves. I even got evaluated by a fitness trainer and he asked me if I walked on my toes because I have huge calves, but it's just genetics I am just the opposite! I am 5'9" and have the world's skinniest legs. The tops of boots are huge on my legs and look so stupid. I have to wear those fold down boot sock things to make them even come close to fitting.
My pity party is that I want to find some flowers or plants that the dang deer won't eat up in my yard. It's like we have a wildlife sanctuary in our area!

I managed to get this jacket in my size after eyeing it lovingly for weeks. It was horrible when it arrived, the fit was bad, a lot of the beads had fallen off during transit there were so many loose ends of thread hanging, and the colour was totally off. I returned it and got a refund, I was so disappointed.

She always wants all the cute shoes other girls in 4th frickin' grade wear, but they don't come in that size! (She's also 5'6" right now and not stopping. Finding clothes for her that are age appropriate are also a challenge.)

Short girl problems extend to my feet also. I wear a size 5 or a child's 3. With my job, I have to have safety shoes on in certain areas, the shoe company like to have never found a size 5 with steel toes for me. But they went far and wide and found a pair that just happen to be in my favorite color purple and fit perfectly! It was like Christmas for me!!! Now if we could just get the pink hard hat they ordered me to adjust just a little tighter I'd be in business. My lovely safety shoes in size 5! Attachments:

I hear you. My complaint along those lines is why can't I find a comfortable pair of shoes. I live in my running shoes, flip flops, and uggs. I would love to wear pretty grown up shoes, but they all make me want to cut off my feet within 30 minutes of wearing them. I just want a cute pair of shoes that I can wear for more than an hour without my feet hurting! I've basically given up. I wear Birkenstocks, Crocs, and a pair of Naots that are falling apart. And running shoes. That's it. eta: I wear an 11W, the start of a bunion, and plantar fasciitis (inactive right now but I'm always afraid of doing something that brings it back). Basically impossible to find in a store and I'm afraid to order online because I know they won't be comfortable. I have ordered from Zappos and then returned the ones I didn't like. Mostly I just wear my Crocs, and the last pair of running shoes I bought are men's from one of those shoe warehouse places. They're actually nice now that men wear all sorts of wild colors. It used to be that women got the colors and men got white, black and grey.

I so understand the shoe size problem. I wear a 2-1/2 in children's... it sucks I so get this. Not for me, but my 14 year old daughter. She's 5'3, but her shoe size is 1 1/2- 2. We try to find her cute, trendy shoes, but end up empty handed in a section filled with Mary Janes and Dora light up shoes. Poor thing. We've had her feet evaluated due to lack of growth, apparently the growth plates are still open, but no growth for at least 4 years. Doctors say the size of her foot is sufficient for her frame, but it sure doesn't look proportionate. I'm hoping she gets some sort of foot growth spurt that at least puts her in a size 5.

I have bunions, so I can't wear cute shoes either! But I save a lot of money. I have one pair of boots that now have holes in them, but they are the only comfortable boots that I have found (and they don't make them anymore). That's all I wear in the winter. I wear flip flops as long as it's above 40 degrees because they are comfortable.

I've never worn cute shoes because my feet are very different sizes and I can't afford two pairs of shoes. Check out Nordstroms for shoes. They will sell you 2 different sized shoes at no extra cost, if you are at 1 1/2 sizes different. linkI wish I was within access to one. I'm not.

But I am scared to death of getting back my plantar fasciitis and right now I have a bone spur in my right foot so I live in my crocs. Sigh. I love heels because I love being over 6' tall with them. I do have vionic sneakers which are great!

There's one in the Chinook mall in Calgary, and they have a Canadian website that (I think!) offers free shipping ... I'm a bit of a shopping enabler 😏

I'm too old for navy and emerald and Tiffany blue lip colors. Seriously bums me out. I'm dying to wear a navy/purple ombre lip but I don't want the pity of teenagers.
I know there is a "wear what you like" crowd, but I really don't feel like that advice applies here.

My cough is very dramatic sounding and it makes me sound like have the plague or something. It's just a really bad cough that makes you choke. I want to STFU. I don't want to subject anyone else to my hacking. I am sorry for all the noise it makes. I don't know how to make it stop. I wish I did! I've had this cough before and it is horrible. I hope it goes away soon! Try some soothing tea with lemon and honey.

ok for us big flintstone feet women, Here is a small hint that i found years ago find a drag queen shop. Yes you can get some cutie thing in much larger sizes than normal. I am a size 10W and hard to fit. IF i am looking for cutie i look up stores online for drag queens. Can always find something there.

I'll join your pity party! Not only do I have wide duck feet, but they're probably the most common size on the planet (8 or 8.5) so no one ever has the cuter shoes in stock in my size unless I'm willing to spend a bunch of money (which I'm not). A year ago March I had foot surgery to get rid of bone spurs from arthritis. Yeah. Well. The pain never totally went away like it was supposed to, so I followed up with my surgeon and had new x-rays done. The freaking bone spurs are coming back, and the cartilage that was left (and looked good 8 weeks after surgery) has deteriorated further. So now I get to have surgery again on that same stupid foot in the same stupid place. At least 8 weeks non-weight bearing. 10-12 weeks in a boot. It'll be months before I can wear any shoes at all, and once I can I doubt that they'll be cute ones.

I have wide feet and a high arch, so I totally understand not finding cute shoes. The shoe store has racks and racks in what should be my size, but very, very few of them fit or are comfortable. Most of time I have to work with ones that are ok if I size up. It's hard and most shoes don't work when you wear too big of a size.
Thank heavens the clog trend is well and truly dead. Those were tough years.
