Does anyone know if Kelly Purkey has any plans of doing her own kits again? Did I dream it or did I read somewhere that she was on the verge of making changes similar to Ali Edwards? I know she used to do business with Simon Says Stamp but I think that's over now. At least the site makes it seem that way. Anyone got the scoop?  |

@scrappersoccermom she's advertising pre-order of a limited edition kit on her blog. Here's the post, along with news about '... a fun announcement coming soon for a big partnership...' I didn't realise the partnership with SSS had ended. So maybe she's another one going with SC?? |

I like her. She has a great instagram and a beautiful blog. I like the lines she has come out with but I've never bought one of her kits.

For reasons I can't even remember now, I got the sense she very quickly jumped ship at Studio Calico the first time, and only recently (over a year later) has done a few stamps for them and a class. Maybe she had a change in plans. Her SSS PL kit was only for a year, so maybe she's teaming up with Basic Grey since she did some lines for them? Sorry, all speculation and gossip, no real news, but I like her stamps and would be interested to see a stamp subscription type deal (a la AlI) from her |

Didn't she chastise someone on two peas for wanting to sell her stamps for what they bought them for? If it is, it turned me off to buying her products.

I wasn't happy with her call-out of that customer.
I like the majority of the stamps she's put out.
This kit doesn't even tempt me. The alphabet stamp just isn't for me.

In my opinion, that stuff is generic and ugly regardless of cost. Calling it a kit and charging $25 for it is just egotistical and silly.
(Obviously, to each his own, and I mean no disrespect if you totally love it.)

I don't usually balk at prices if I really want something. To me, not worth it. So many other stamps that are just as great for less than half the price. I think people can get sucked into names or people that they like and just order it thinking they will like it. It has happened to me.

I can make my own stamps using free fonts, clip art, Cameo and Silhouette stamp material. I haven't tried that yet. Is the stamp material durable? Does the Cameo cut it out well enough? I would love to hear your thoughts on this!! |

I will never buy her products again. In fact, anything I get in a kit from SC that is designed by her will go straight into the trash.
