littlemama, you never told us that your fil's last name was deville. That was an awful thing for your mil to do to you. She must not have a brain cell in her head or she's just mean or both.

I really think she thought it was funny. I mean, she is one of those people who runs to doctor for antibiotics for a cold, so maybe she figured "sinus infections" weren't contagious. I don't know what she was thinking, but it was definitely a dick move. |

We had dentist appointments this afternoon (reg. check-up, problem-free ones!) so decided to do take-out instead of coming home and cooking. Bang-Bang shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli is on the menu, compliments of Bone Fish Grill.

Tonight we are having a chicken from the store, salad, green beans, potato wedges for DS and onion rings for me. I wanted easy tonight. We'll have something fancier tomorrow night.

I made the onion rings low cal by taking out the onion part and just eating the batter. The vegetable part is a little too much onion for me and I get enough flavour by just eating the coating. That had to eliminate at least 2% of the calories, right? We are talking health food here!

Dd asked for Oven Fry chicken. Made it to be ready when her practice was over. She stopped at her boyfriend's on the way home because the praying mantis egg we gave him hatched. Food was burnt. Oh well.

Pizza tonight. When we were at MIL's house last Saturday for a birthday party (I could write a whole thread on the day), MIL decided it was funny to breathe right in my face knowing that she was sick and that my immune system is suppressed by medication I am on (Background, she was standing behind me as I sat on the loveseat. She was talking and I could feel her breath, so I said, Hey, could you not breathe your sick air right on me? She then proceeded to pant over top of my head hard enough that I could literally feel her breath right on my face). Since my infusion of the medication was on Sunday, of course, I ended up sick by Monday. While MIL always thinks that she is sicker than anyone else, I can guarantee you that I will be sicker with this than she ever was. I mean, who the hell DOES that? I'm actually p***ed off just reading about it! No sane person would do something like that!! |
