I use it in tea, mixed into my Fage yogurt, and I have a few recipes that call for it.
When my son was little, I made him "toast choices" when he wasn't feeling well. It was just toast cut into strips with a different topping on each strip. Maybe one with just butter, one with jam, one with peanut butter and honey, and one with honey butter. Or whatever combination requested. But peanutbutter/honey seemed to be a constant favorite.
I also put it into oatmeal, and I make a face mask mixture with it.
That's all I can think of at the moment.
I had no idea it had such healing properties until I just looked it up.

I buy local organic unpasteurized honey and take a spoonful a day for my allergies. It probably does nothing, but I like it I have ragweed allergies and I do feel like they're better since the honey, but it's probably just a coincidence and connected more to moving across the country

I also use raw local honey to help combat allergies.
I put it on plain yogurt, fresh fruit and some muesli for breakfast or as dessert after dinner.
I also make honey, lime, dressing for salads.

We give DD a spoonful of local, raw honey each day to help keep her allergies at bay. It's also great on a sandwich made with peanut butter (and bananas if you so please).

Use it as a cough syrup for little ones, add whiskey for 'big ones' . I made some really good chocolate syrup (for ice cream and the like) from honey, cocoa powder, water and vanilla. Compare that to the ingredients on the back of any chocolate syrup in the grocery store. I make a really good marinade for chicken from honey, soy sauce, oil, garlic and lime. Yum! On toast or biscuits.

We get our honey from our local county fair each year. They have the whole bee hive display thing going on and sell it too - yummy stuff. Anyway, I use it in several recipes, sometimes on toast or hot cereal, and we both love honey drizzled on our hot, buttered biscuits. DH also likes it in his tea occasionally. I pass on that one because it's not all that tasty in my coffee.

Hot water with honey & lemon is my favorite sore throat remedy.

Mostly a few chicken recipes but I do like it on fresh bread or toast.
It is supposed to antibiotic as well a good healing agent.

Even though I responded to this thread, there's a small part of me that wonders whether the OP is being cheeky. There have been a few threads lately asking about what to do with fennel, leeks, red curry sauce etc, maybe the OP thought it would be fun to pick a really common food and ask for suggestions! Like, "Someone just gave me a stick of butter, what do I do with it?"

My kids love toasted peanut butter & honey sandwiches. We make a few bread recipes that call for honey. I like to make honey mustard for beans, and we sometimes put it on biscuits or cornbread. I tend to take my tea unsweetened, but if I have a sore throat, I always put some honey in it. And with Christmas comes my favorite use of honey....struffoli!

In tea, on toast or ice cream, in honey mustard, honey garlic, or other marinades, in salad dressings/vinagarettes... Other than in tea, the most common use is mixing it with evoo, a vinegar, and some herbs/spices as a dressing for pasta or bean salads... It adds a touch of sweetness to offset the vinegar or lemon juice, but the flavour is more mellow than just adding sugar... I don't bake often, but I have a couple recipes that do use honey...

We have an apiary just about 2 miles from my house. Our Wegman's carries the honey. My DH uses it in his coffee, but I really don't like the taste. The only time I have it is if we have a fresh bread right out of the oven with butter. I saw someone mention up-thread that they had it on McNuggets. I'd totally forgotten there was a chicken place in Dallas, I think it was Grandy's. They served chicken and biscuits with honey! I loved that. Maybe I will try that to get in some local honey for allergy relief!

One of my favorite cooking magazines chooses an ingredient every month then lists 6 recipes from different cultures all over the world using that ingredient. I bought the magazine today and the ingredient is honey!! These are the recipes:
Iran - Sohan Asali (honey, almond and saffron caramels) Moroccao - Tfaya with Lamb Tagine and Couscous Scotland - Heather Honey Chicken Jewish - Honey Cake Italy - Sebadas (fried cheese patries with honey syrup) Korea - Yakgwa (fried sweets)
I'm definitely going to try a few of these.
