I've read about that video, but not seen it until now.

To really appreciate it, you need some knowledge of Norwegian comedy from the seventies. The three older guys have been among our most popular comedians for decades, and "Torsken kommer nå" (the cod is here now), was a very silly song about the fish that meant so much for our economy until we struck oil in the sixties. 

They are starting the release of the new currency this year, and all of them have the sea as a theme (which is why you see a viking ship on one of them and a cod on the other. I think there'll also be one with an oilrig, but I can't remember the other two).

So the song in the video is educating people about how to see if they have the real thing or a fake bill. Not that counterfeiting is a major problem, can't honestly think of the last time someone tried, but it's supposed to be even more difficult now. And educating people are easier when you use a song that a majority of us know, and a bit of humour.
