I thought about how I was going to do this, and then it occurred to me that I'm supposed to be exercising every day anyway, and it would be so easy to take my phone out and just snap a picture. The only hard part is getting my butt in gear to just go for a walk. But I can do this. My latest thing is I go out in the mornings and take a walk with my coffee and my camera. It really resets my brain. The light is pretty too in the mornings so that's an added bonus. |

Here is a photo I took today. I know; I know. It's not June yet. But I will be traveling most of the day tomorrow, and unlike justjac on a road trip, I will be driving. I decided that this photo goes with the prompt, My Happy Place. I hate selfies of me (or to be honest, MOST photos of me), but I really love the flowers in our yard right now, and I love being able to sit outside in the mornings drinking my coffee and listening to the birds singing this time of year. This sounds intimidating but fun! It is my birthday month and I need some fresh photos that are not kid centered for the days I don't really like them that much but want to scrap (just me? oops! LOL!) Maybe I will focus on photos about thinks I like/love to add to my measly all about me album since its bday month. ....hmmm. That isn't selfish is it? Not selfish at all. Someday your kids will appreciate the layouts about you just as much, if not more, than the ones about them. |

We're just ten minutes away from being June the 1st here.  My favourite month of the year... Here's your reminder that this project can be anything you want. You don't need a fancy camera (or need to lug it around every single day), pretty landscapes or a trendy-looking interior to enjoy yourself and snap away. A phone and your daily life suffice! grammadee That's a lovely selfie! I've got the Nutcracker's Waltz of the Flowers now playing in my head.  |

I just got a chance to look at the list of June holidays. There are some we could definitely take advantage of like National Doughnut Day, Iced Tea Day, International Picnic Day, and Ice Cream Soda Day. I'l have to see about Eat Your Veggies Day. No promises.

Looks like you have a lovely view from your craftroom window if you take a pic the other way, too. Awesome May collection of photos, ecvnj58! Love the way you got them all onto a calendar. If I could figure out digi just a little bit, I might want to try to lift that for my June photos! Keep 'em comin'! No photo posting today for me: we are packing up the suv and heading out for a 6 hour drive. Will be taking lots of pix this weekend, but won't be posting until Monday evening or Tuesday morning. |

Awesome May collection of photos, ecvnj58! Love the way you got them all onto a calendar. If I could figure out digi just a little bit, I might want to try to lift that for my June . I use the collect app in my iPhone. It makes it super easy. I wish they were rectangles but I'm not going to mess with figuring it out in Lightroom. 😀 |
