And some amazing effects!!! Plus it finishes a few stories from previous films.

Last movie was pre kids so I went right away, this time I think I'll have to wait until it's on video because they're not old enough...we did dress up like pirates today for preschool so that was fun :-)

For some reason, the film is called Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge here in the UK. It's on our list of movies to watch.

The last two were so God-awful that I really have had no interest in seeing this one. Maybe I will consider it now.

Saw it last night. I loved the way Salazar said "Jack Essparrowwww" in his Spanish accent. I kept saying it to DH on the way home. I agree, this was better than the previous movies.

We enjoyed it -- but we generally enjoy a "Pirates" movie. "Dead Men Tell No Tales" is certainly one of the better ones. I wish that the "young Jack" had more "innocence", more heroism about him ... v. the cynical sarcasm of Captain Jack. We didn't recognize the "actor" under the Uncle Jack character - that was a surprise in the credits! I need some instruction on plot history of Captain Barbosa!

I recognized Uncle Jack right away, but had to tell my Mom who he was. She didn't believe me till the end credits. I'm thinking Barbosa's story is still being told. Rumor is there are two more movies planned.

We went yesterday, loved it. I recognized Uncle Jack, DH didn't believe me. I love a movie where you laugh one minute and say "Oh, that's cool" the next. I think this one made up for the disaster the last one was.

We saw it today, youngest dd and hubby loved it. I like that they brought Turners son into this one. It allows for them to explore some diffrent avenues. But no one will make a better pirate than Orlando. We are looking forward to the next two weekends...Wonder Woman and The Mummy.

We saw it today, it was definitely better than the last 2 disasters. I missed most of the young Jack part, it's a long movie and I had to use the bathroom.

I relunctantly went with DH to see the money since we had a couple of hours to kill. I ended up liking it way better than DH did. I loved seeing Orlando Bloom at the end!

I thought it was good! The first one is still my favorite, but the story line and action in the new one was much better than some of the others. Plus the scenes with Orlando.

We loved it! I love the connection to the first movie, as well as the special effects (sharks!). I didn't care for the last few movies, but this one was great.

We loved it but I have to admit we love all the pirate movies. We are not picky when it comes to Jack Sparrow.
