Do you want to scan them yourself, or just box them up and send them to someone to do everything for you? Shutterfly makes 12x12 for about $6. If you want to send them to someone to do everything for you, there are several places on line who will even send you the packing materials.
sorry you are having to deal with this.

Maybe you can take pictures of them and just give him digital copies? You can organize them into folders by years. Then if he wants physical copies he can get them done himself.

It takes a special tripod to get a good picture that can be turned into a digital page, but this is the route I would suggest. Even though the tripod is a bit pricey, it would probably be the least expensive route in the long run.

The least expensive way to do it (aside from taking photos) would be to buy a scanner and give him digital copies. Having a service scan for you is going to get very pricey.

((((Hugs)))) on what you are going through. I would recommend getting someone else to scan the pages. I have just finished getting pages copies for my dgs's scrapbook, and it is a lot of physical work, let along the trip down memory lane if you are not in a happy place.
We have a local printer who does copies of 12x12 pages. For a few pages, they charge about $2CN per page. For a larger order it is closer to $1 per page. Now this was with me pulling the pages out of the albums, taking them into the shop, then picking them up and replacing the pages in the albums.
This is a photographer's shop. But if you don't have one with a large scanner/copier, check out the local newspaper: I have heard that they print things like posters, etc, and would prob be able to copy the pages as well.

Are you in a place with your soon to be ex where you could discuss whether he wants copies of everything or just some photos? I think it would be fair to split the cost of scanning the photos.
I'm sorry you have to deal with this at all.

I posted on another thread but I would give him digital copies of the photos. You can scan your layouts with a regular scanner and crop the photos on the page so you just have the photo image. I did this with a number of photos I wanted duplicates of but they were originally on film.
It can be very time consuming but it only costs you your time. Then I sent the photos over to Walmart to be printed but for a soon to be ex I would just give him digital files and he can print up what he wants.
