He's an egotistical ass who doesn't have any idea about things that haven't been on fox news. He's old, so he doesn't care about the environment and he is too full of himself to care about his kids and grandkids.
He also needs to have things that he had done as president as the list is pretty small. So anything he can do without Congressional approval is going to happen.
I can only hope that the damage he does is as minimal as it can be and can be reversed.
In some cases, the state's have stepped in. Maybe more will too

I'm going to tell you a story about my dad's dog Sam. He was a lab mix and weighted about 90 lbs. My dad was friends with a guy who owned a bunch of orchards and my dad would take Sam and go visit this guy at his orchards. On the way to this one spot they would go by this big dog and everytime Sam would start barking like he really wanted a piece of that big dog. The big dog would just watch Sam drive by barking and yawn. One day Sam came face to face with the big dog. He couldn't get away from that dog fast enough.
Sam was brave from the cab of the truck but not so much face to face with the big dog.
That's trump. He had no intention of staying in the Paris Accord. But he is too much of a coward to say that to the faces of the leaders while he was in Europe. He had to wait until he was in his "truck cab" before saying what he planned to do all along.
By the way on Sam's part it was a smart move to turn tail and run from the big dog. That dog would have made mince meat out of Sam if they ever went at it.

This and the Betsy DeVos debacle are by far the two most frightening Trump effects. I really truly hope the states step up and that when Trump is out of office that the effect can be reversed.
I just don't know how anyone's can deny climate change, regardless of education, socioeconomic status, political party, gender, etc. It kind of boggles the mind.

He just wants to treat the office of president as a reality show. He wants to build drama and have everyone asking "will he?" He thinks it will improve his ratings.........Ignore the drama.
He can come back to the table when he has something to announce and in the meantime, keep his mouth shut.

This does not bode well for Canada. We share borders and a continent. Why should we suffer because he is a giant douche with a pea brain? Maybe we need to build that wall..or a dome. That he could give two shits about others is frightening but not surprising. You'd at least think he'd want to protect his grandchildren and their families.

Although the news earlier reported DT's friends as saying he is withdrawn and unhappy, as I see it he loves being front and centre whether people are positive or negative about him He just denies any negatives or spins them into "I was yuge... tremendous" and so on.

Out of all the horrific and dreadful things he's done or tried to do so far, this is the biggie, IMO. This is the one that we'll be feeling the effects of for decades. I've sort of run out of things to say about Donald Trump, but this, to me, is like the coffin lid slamming down on America's future. I just hope the rest of the world will carry on without us.

I have a number of old high school friends on my FB. They are true believers that climate change is a hoax. One of them is a highly educated geologist. All I can do these days is just scroll on by. No use even trying to talk with them.

I don't even think he understands what this climate deal is and I'm positive he doesn't care. He's not fit. His MAGA agenda is ruining us.

I've been in the wilds of Maine without any internet access for three days, and thus have had no news about what Trump has said or done. It's been so relaxing. I think I'll turn the computer off and pretend I still have no internet ...

Even with advisors urging him to stay in, he is more interested in making the cheering base happy. He's tired, irritable, feeling fat and disrespected.

Trump is a moron wholly lacking critical thinking skills or warm human empathy. He is a festering boil on the ass of humanity and my only wish is to live long enough to see an ignoble end to his disastrous administration.

I watched the macron/Putin speech at Versailles. Macron has a real issue with Russia interfering in the French election. He stood on stage and said right to putin's face that he was sick of them spreading lies and propaganda. That's something you'd never see from trump because a) he's too much of a coward to confront someone in person and b) he'd never say anything to Putin.
And trump is supposed to be the strong, alpha male? Sorry, dude...it turns out that the guy who is educated, can speak well in two languages, has been faithful to his wife and who actually knows how to dress well is waaaaaaay more of a man than you'll ever be.

Just watched a programme on how climate change is bleaching/killing the coral on Australia's Great Barrier Reef- yet some people 'don't believe ' in climate change ? Smh! There are so many examples all over the world to prove the dissenters wrong .
Apparently Ivanka tried to dissuade him from this - must be so frustrating as she clearly has a greater intelligence than her deluded, arrogant bombastic father .

My Biggest fear, and in my opinion much less fixable in 4 years, is his idea to sell all the national parks I've got every appendage I have crossed and I pray every day that it doesn't happen. I'd go so far as to look up a prevention spell or something but since that's not my thing I'm afraid to screw it up Once his billionaire buddies get thier hands on the national parks ( at greatly discounted rates ) they will never ever be the same commercialism will devastate them irreparably

We share a very long border with the U.S. so this will affect Canada a lot.
I am so effing angry about this.
