Ramadan Mubarak to you and yours Elannah.
The only thing I don't like about Ramadan is the endless march back and forth from the table with all the small little plates of dates and sweets and glasses of water and milk. Lol!!!
I am enjoying the challenge of coming up with different soup recipes and the recipe swapping with my friends. I really like how it brings families together.
I wish your family peace and happiness during Ramadan and all through the year. I hope all Muslims use this time of fasting and reflection to follow peace and being charitable.

I, too wish you a peaceful Ramadan.
I also ask for your postive thoughts and prayers for a family in Saudia Arabia...one of my husband's students died of a heart attack the first day of Ramadan. I am sure his family is devastated and they are so far away.

to all a peaceful Ramadan and a wonderful Eid!! I was in morroco the Friday of Eid.. and boy, people were getting ready for the family feasts.. we saw lots of goats in the back of pick up trucks. then, spent the Monday after the weekend in The Gambia... people were out everywhere in their new clothes...
I wish the public schools would teach about this as well as st patricks day and chinese new year...
