I've started working on my family's summer bucket list and I'm looking forward to scrapping all the fun things we have planned. I'm trying to decide if I want to do a summer mini album or traditional layouts or month in review layouts. My goal is to take more pictures this summer and have fun!

I have a bucket list but it is things I want to do before I actually kick the bucket. I won't be doing any of those things this summer.
But I have started a little mini album of my bucket list - I have a 2 pager of paper and embellies for the things I want to do, and then when I do them I am putting in a picture of the actual thing.
So far I have: Opening my eyes to the sun coming up over the ocean Seeing the Grand Canyon Seeing the Statue of Liberty Visiting New York City at Christmas and seeing the Rockettes Visit Hawaii- not yet Visit Holland and maybe Ireland - not yet Spend my 60th birthday at the beach Live by the ocean - not yet

I have both. I have a 100 Things to Do Before I Die album that I started in 2000. Every summer I make a list of things for us to do. I haven't turned it into an album. We don't always get everything done on the list either. But it's nice to put on paper some fun activities. Ali did a Summer Manifesto album years ago and I used that as inspiration for an Autumn list/album. aliedwards.com/2012/06/bringing-the-summer-manifesto-to-life

I made a mini album in 2015 of my summer bucket list. I was put on graveyard shift (not my favorite) and was really really bummed about it. I decided that the way to make it through was to make myself a bucket list and enjoy the summer as much as possible. I bought one of those Becky Higgins mini albums and made myself a list and took pics all summer. Once my schedule was back to "normal" I put that album together pretty quickly. I loved the project and the bucket list saved my sanity that summer I think I am going to make a list this year and use a 4x4 album and do it in instagram. Lisa

I have a rough idea in my mind the things I'd like to do.
One I already did at the end of last month - go to the zoo with all the kids.
I love the idea of making a bucket list, and I did it last year, but it's discouraging when you get to the end of summer and haven't done nearly as much fun stuff as you'd like.

I did this 3 years ago! My hubby and I being new empty nesters and summer fanatics made a bucket list of fun things we wanted to do that summer. It was the first summer we could actually concentrate on the things we wanted to do. It was wonderful! It included trips to the beach, new restaurants and a trip up north to hike and explore! I made a mini-album with the photos of each event. It is one of my favorite albums actually!

Sounds like fun. I want my son to create one as I got a cute list thing on a cut apart card that would look good on a layout. Of course he would be happy to sleep and play video games all summer. We need to replace our deck so that is now taking priority over vacation after my husband accidentally out his foot through it. He wasn't hurt thankfully but it just moved up on our priority list. Hoping it doesn't take too long and we can do some fun things this summer. Hoping hubby can take enough time off.

I don't have a summer bucket list - we don't have children who have summer vacation at home, and DH and I tend to spread our vacation time across the year. We do have a trip planned starting in a week, but that came about accidentally - we are adding a couple of days to the end of a conference for DH. We'll probably go to Greece or Croatia to sit on a beach for a week at some point too, but we've been to both before.
I do have a life time bucket list. I've crossed a lot off it in the past 7 years of living in Europe - been to Rome, London, Madrid, Barcelona, several Greek islands etc. I still want to do a trip to Africa - my grandparents were born in Egypt and I want to do a safari in one of the wildlife areas - but that won't be this year.

I always wanted to do a bucket list summer mini album with the kids when they were smaller. I hope that you enjoy all of your summer activities. Let us know what you decide to do (12x12 regular, Month in Review, or a special mini)?
