I know we had a thread about lash extenders/enhancers/growth serums before. I keep getting an error message when I search for it.
As I've gotten older, my lashes have thinned. I'm looking for something that will help.
I have a lady at church selling Rodan & Fields, but their lash boost is $150. Of course, if it really works without causing damage I might buy it.
SeneGence makes an extender, LashExtend, but I've heard that your lashes become brittle and flake off.
Any help is appreciated.

I am going to a plastic surgeon today about Latisse to see how much it costs etc. I will let you know what I find out.

I bought Latisse last year I think for $200? I don't remember, but the bottle is the size of a nail polish bottle. I realized that I didn't really need length, I want volume which it does not give. The length came in all strange places like the corner of my eye or a couple hairs creating a second line of hair growth.

The R&F for real works.
I've had people comment on my lashes since I've been using it. The cost does pain me. I've only bought 1 tube and I'm struggling with buying another one.
I have a friend that sells Senegence (lip sense if you've heard of it) and they have a lash booster that is only like $60 that I am thinking about trying...

I'm on week 5 of NeuLash. I'm starting to see the results. They are denser and a bit longer. I have also hear good things about R&F too.

I have the R & F one because someone I know was getting her business of the ground and I bought it at a "special" price. I'm on week two. I think it is working. I don't know if I will do it again, but I'm going to continue until it's gone before deciding again. I think I should invest more into wrinkle stuff

I just looked at the R&F website for Canada and the lash enhancement serum is not available in Canada (yet) so I don't know if it will be coming or not. Good question.

I bought generic Latisse (Careprost) based on the other thread. It's been working great on both my lashes and eyebrows.

I bought generic Latisse (Careprost) based on the other thread. It's been working great on both my lashes and eyebrows. It is really reasonable too. There is a big banner that came up on the page that said "CAREPROST CANNOT BE SOLD TO CANADIAN CUSTOMERS. UGH!!!!

I use the R & F lash boost. I love it! It's pricy, but you use very little so I think one tube will last me almost a year. I am not a daily user as my results happened fairly quickly, so I backed off to every other day.

Where are you buying your Careprost from? ADC no longer accepts credit cards the last time I checked.

Here's where a lot of gals on Makeupalley buy their Careprost. The site used to be called MG Storefront: thebeautybliss.com/

I bought generic Latisse (Careprost) based on the other thread. It's been working great on both my lashes and eyebrows. Me too. But before I started using it, I got the approval of my PCP. She encouraged me to try it, and I have seen an increase in the density of my brows. I use it every day, and my brows are thick and dark enough that I don't use eyebrow pencil on them. Very happy with the results.

I've been using Rodan + Fields and having great results! If you sign up under your rep as a preferred customer you get it at a cheaper price.

I have used Latisse for the past few months and I can definitely see some length in my lashes and I think they are darker too. I swear my normal lashes are so blond they are clear. I do think I got some thickness too. My BFF is an esthetician and she tinted and lifted my lashes a few weeks prior to me starting the Latisse. I cold see the new growth of lashes that weren't curled like my lifted lashes were. I got mine from my plastic surgeon's office when they had a rebate on the Latisse so I got it for $120 including the tax - regular price was ~$140.
A few friends of mine did use the R&F stuff and got great results. I have a friend that sells it and I might try that next time.
I do recommend using a cheap eyeliner brush for the Latisse and not the weird brushes that come with the kit. I can do both lids with one drop on the eye liner brush vs using two drops on the kit brushes.

I got Latisse today and I got the 5mL bottle. I think I paid $205 for it and it should last me 2 months. Remember this is Canadian dollars so that makes it about $153 US or so. There is also no tax on it as it's an Rx. I will see how I do. The clinician at the doctor's office assured me it would work. I am excited to see if it does. (Very excited really!) She said to use one drop on the applicator and use the rest on my eyebrows so I am excited. She took photos of before and when I go back in 2 months' time I will have her take more photos and compare.
I am not sure if regular pharmacies sell Latisse in the stores or not. If they do it is hidden. I will call my usual pharmacy and see if they carry it. Who knows? Maybe it's cheaper and I can get my GP to prescribe it.

I've used Latisse for about a year. As I've aged My lashes have become more sparse. The Latisse REALLY has helped! I tyoically use it twice a day and a bottle ($130-something at Costco) lasts me almost two months.

I just called my pharmacy and asked if they can order it in and he said yes. The cost? $75. I am some pissed now. Plus they have a 7ml bottle I can get for just a bit more. Lesson learned!

This is why I'm looking at it. I don't need any on my brows. I was glad they got a little sparse, but now I have to wear mascara if you want to see any lashes. Do you need a Rx for Latisse?

I've used both generic Latisse and lash boost from R & F. I love results from lash boost so much better. I use it here and there. Have forgotten this past week and still look good. I didn't have near the result with Latisse and of course, didn't last if forgot to apply for a while.

I just started using R&F lash boost in May. It does work, but my results aren't as startling as others'.
Some things I've noticed - my eyelashes aren't falling out as much each day as they used to. That's pretty much the point - Lash Boost makes the growing cycle longer. I used to lose 3 or 4 every morning as I put on makeup/washed my face, etc. The first five weeks I only noticed three lashes total. Then on Thursday night six fell out at once.
My lashes aren't growing evenly. I have gaps in my lashes more so than I did before.
My eyes are more tired in the morning than they used to be.
My lashes feel "starchy". I don't wear mascara because I don't like the way my lashes feel. The Lash Boost leaves a residue that I cannot seem to wash off in the morning. It feels like mascara - which defeats the purpose for me, lol. If I wanted longer, thicker looking lashes, I could simply wear mascara. That would be a lot cheaper!
I'm going to keep it up until I run out of the first tube. Then I might go to maintenance. I can't justify $75/month for prettier eyelashes.
