Because of this thread, I started looking at eye lash serums on Amazon. I ended up buying a cheap one (£12) with scores of good reviews, and after six weeks or so of using it (I ordered just after this chat started), there is a huge difference in the length of my lashes. It's quite unbelievable to me. They still look rubbish until I put mascara on as they are fine and mid-brown, but I can't believe the lashes I have now. Each lash doesn't seem any thicker, and there aren't more of them as far as I can tell, but the length difference is incredible. I didn't even know these serums existed until this thread. Amazon had Rapidlash half price last week, so I bought it. The cheap one I first bought is unavailable just now, and I have since bought another cheap one with the same active ingredient as Rapidlash, before the Rapidlash came on offer. I'm definitely going to keep going and I'm interested to see if the expensive Rapidlash is any more effective. Greater thickness would be a real bonus. I've no idea what is in this first serum I'm using now.

My GF is using the RF Lash Boost and the results have been pretty damn amazing. I'm holding off for right now bc I already spend enough on my face lol

From watching videos, reading and learning, my research (albeit unscientific at best) leads me to believe that Rapid Lash is the best serum to use. I don't know if that is true or not. There are cheaper brands and there is Latisse which is the most expensive.
If I were in the US I would get the two pack deal of Rapid Lash from costco.com as it seems to be the best price I have found.
I don't plan to give up Latisse, but I will be using the NeoStrata I bought for the next time around and then go back to bimatoprost (generic Latisse) as I have that.
The clinician I saw said none of the other products work as well as Latisse which I think is a blatant lie.

I had my follow up with the eye doctor today. Because latisse is a glaucoma med, he wanted to make sure it wasn't messing my eyes up. I'm good.
Although I don't think most people could tell that my lashes are longer, but I can tell a bit. The Doc said that they were longer and that I have lots of fine little ones starting to grow that I probably can't tell yet. So I'm excited about that.

I started my last month of growth on Wednesday. I am expecting in the next couple of weeks they will be full length and fullness. They are definitely longer, but they aren't thicker. There is also a cowlick in my eyelashes. One goes the wrong direction. It's right in the front, too. I am not sure what to do about that one. I still need lots of mascara to look like I have eyelashes. They are so light in colour and they definitely are not growing back thicker.
My eyebrows though have lots of volume and look really good! Their length is good and the fullness is nice. I got them waxed last weekend and they look nice and tidy now.

I have a good friend who is an eye surgeon. I will ask him about it the next time I see him. He will know best.

I use Collagen powder mixed with my smoothies, tea, and other foods. I think that has helped my hair a lot (on my head and elsewhere), as well as my nails.
A group of friends was talking about the Rodan and Fields lash boost the other day and one friend said that she noticed a big difference in her coworker's skin and lashes.

I am taking Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies with Biotin. It's no effort to take these as they taste like strawberry and I love strawberries. I haven't noticed anything different yet. BFF took them and said she noticed a difference after a week's use-so I am hopeful . I got them at Costco for about $10. I will try them for 3 months and see if there is a difference. They don't even seem like they are vitamins as they taste so good. Do they sell other adult vitamins that are gummies? This is way easier than swallowing pills for vitamins!

My GP wants me to take vitamin D and a multivitamin but so far I am not. I had problems with my stomach in pill form. If I could have a chewable I would consider it. I mean any would be better than none wouldn't it? Or is it so low that it's not worth it at all (which is what I am doing now...)

They tell you why specific supplements rated high or low. Then you can find one that fits your needs. I ended up ordering a gummy for him because he won't swallow a pill.

Interesting. I ordered Rapidlash to use when the cheap eyelash serum I'm currently using is finished, as it was half price. I wouldn't pay £40 for it. Following the article linked above, I see that the active ingredient in the old formula which has now been banned for use in cosmetic products in the US, isopropyl cloprostenate, is still in the UK version. I can't find any UK based safety information on this ingredient but there are sufficient articles on the web to make me very wary of using it. I also ordered another cheap serum (Hollyberry), with great reviews, which contains myristoyl pentapeptide-17, which isn't linked with adverse effects so far. I think I'll use this one instead. I'm a bit disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing impressive results with Rapidlash. However, I continue to be pretty impressed with the results of the cheap serum.

Younique has a new lash serum. I've been using it for about a week and can see results. Some of my customers have been using it for about three weeks since it came out with some pretty dramatic results in length and volume. It's pretty reasonably priced also at 42.00. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Today is week 10 for me. My eyelashes haven't looked this good in my entire life. I put on only one coat of mascara today and that was sufficient. They are long and curly. I would like more fullness but I am not there yet. I need a few more lashes to get there.
My eyebrows are thick, dark and there is very significant volume. I don't need eyebrow liner or anything for them as they are dark and full enough without!
I am pretty happy with Latisse at this point. I would definitely recommend it. I think I still have a few drops left and will start the generic sometime this week or next.

Yay, Delta Dawn! So happy to hear that. I'm not applying for the next 2 weeks as we're in MN but I can tell a difference for sure in length. Hoping to get some more fullness soon.

I didn't read through all of the responses, so maybe someone already suggested this. For about 4 months I paid to have lash extensions, when I had them removed, I couldn't even see that I had eye lashes. In the past I had tried lash enhancers, but they irritated my eyes. So, I did a little research, and found that Castor Oil applied to lashes makes them grow. I purchased some on Amazon, after 3 months of use, I have somewhat long and thick lashes! All I did was apply every night at bedtime. It's so cheap to buy and it works! It's worth a try, and you would not be out much money if it didn't work for you.

I have found that it is irritating my eyes but read that it goes away after awhile. Did you experience this? I am only using 1 drop per night

I am only using 1 drop per night The corner of my left eye (not both) was irritated one night. That was it. I have had the stuff in my eyes and had no reaction at all. My tenderness went away the next day I am sure. It really was nothing. I wish I had better advice. I might have had some dryness but that went away right away, too.

I went to order the R+F this morning on my cousin's website and it is currently sold out!! Bummer!! I just saw 2 sites that said the Rimmel Lash Accelerator is pretty good for drug store brands so I may stop and pick some up and at least get used to the application process.

After I'm out of generic Latisse, I will try this as I like to do more natural. Thanks for posting

Ok today is week 11 and I have dark, dark brown eyebrows and long eyelashes now. I use mascara because I like how my eyes go green when I use black. I mean they are a deep green and I actually like them that colour. I am using the generic now and no issues with it other than my bank account thanking me. They aren't "too long" yet but they are so nice. I am just so happy I stuck with it.
Bimataprost has a larger opening than Latisse did therefore more product comes out per drop. I am not concerned about it at this point. I am out of Latisse brushes but I have a really nice eye shadow brush that I use every day and I like it a lot. It's very soft.
I have before and after photos from the beginning and last week. If I can figure out how to post them I will show the difference. It is very noticeable!
