She offers me her discount which is super nice, but I just don't want anything. There isn't even "I don't need it, but I just want it anyways" catching my eye. Obviously I am not obligated to help her out, but it's so hard when it's a friend isn't it?!?

I've been there. It is so hard when the friend is SOOO excited about everything in the catalog and I'm not liking anything.

I feel your pain. Sometimes there is a lot of LOVE and lately not so much. Just went to a gathering and had to spend about 1/2 trying to find something I wanted (read to mean could use)

It is hard, but a kindly worded "Thank you, but i really can't add anything to my stash" is sufficient. Just don't brag to her about other purchases!

A kind "no thank you" should be sufficient. I'm sorry if she is mixing business with friendship. It's not fair when friends obligate and guilt us into buying stuff from them.

I think it is nice that she offered her discount but I appreciate that more along the lines of "if you do want something I will get it for you at my cost." Then it is up to you to let her know when and if you do want something.
My niece sells lula roe and doesn't charge me shipping, but thankfully does not bother me to buy any. I might buy from her if she gave them to me at her cost but since she doesn't, I pass.

I hate that feeling. It is kind of the same when asked to donate for a cause that is not your own cause. I only have so much donation funds, and while the person, does not say anything to me about not donating, the person does say stuff about other people, so truly, it is no different. Sorry person, even super rich Oprah only donates to the causes that are important to her.

I just got the newest seasonal catalog and I also am not impressed. There is one thing that I like and will eventually buy, but I am in a monthly club for Stampin up and I spend more than enough there. There are so many SU things on my list, but just this one thing for CTMH. I would also just take it as her saying if I ever do want something I can get it at her cost. That is nice of her. I wish my SU friend would do that.
oops, looks like the stamp set I liked was a monthly special for May. I can't pull it up now.

amom23 what I order from CTMH consistently is their 3 ring page protectors. Excellent quality, and enough room in them for some extra layers or embellishments if needed. If you are a PL scrapper, they also have some great pocket pages. Don't know if you have a Cricut, but the CTMH cartridges each have a wide variety of designs, and I tend to go to them first when looking for something to cut for a page or a card. Those Cricut bundles are now available as digi files now as well, I think.

I always find I can use more acrylic blocks! While the CTMH blocks don't have a full grid on them, there is a small line on one side of each block, which helps with lining up letters or other stamped images.

I'm a consultant to but I just do it for the discount. I don't try to sell to others except one relative but if she doesn't want something she doesn't want it no big deal. Not going to try to guilt her into a purchase. Obviously I like enough stuff but everyone is different. I do love our page protectors I think they are the nicest ones out there but they are more money than most. I am really curious about our new annual catalog which comes out soon. If you don't want something just tell her most people get it.

If it were me, I would thank her for her kind offer, but say that nothing in the current line of products interested me.
I used to love CTMH. I used to place large orders regularly. They changed, trying to widen their appeal, entice new customers, or something, but they seem to have forgotten about their long time customers. They lost my business anyway. I did not care for their new style or products. I haven't had any interest in their products for years now.

I used to sell CTMH, and it didn't bother me a bit when people would say, "Nothing in this catalog is really calling to me."
