I've just glanced at the BBC weather forecast and they're showing these high temps (28+) in the south through until at least Thursday!! I love that thought! I will not complain about it being a tad too warm in case it goes away and on the whole I do enjoy it. Sleeping hasn't been a problem and it's lovely being able to eat outside and stay out there until late, to wear my nice summer clothes that see the light of day too infrequently and to banish our long grey autumn/winter I know not everyone enjoys the heat though, so how are you doing?

Enjoying it while it lasts well at least a week! It's a tad too hot for me today though. I had intended to do a bit of gardening but too hot for that so I'm now just sitting having a nice cool drink. It's surprising how much better you feel when you wake up to sunshine in the morning, makes such a difference I think.

I spent four hours yesterday in a bee suit collecting a swarm. Too hot for that malarkey.
Honestly I dont like it once it gets above about 21/22. But it won't last so I shall try not to complain. I am organising a big annual event which is next Sunday, so I would very much like the weather to at least be dry for that. Stay cool everyone and look after your pets (I'm currently giving all mine ice cubes).

Anything under 35C to me isn't Summer. Under 20C - way too cold!

28? That's the cool temperature here AFTER the heat wave has passed!
Me? - personally I'd be happy if I never experienced another day over 28 ever. I'm so happy that it's winter and it's cold, although not cold enough for me (it's currently 13 deg C and I don't even have the heater on) The other day when I finished work it was 4 deg C and I loved walking home in that.

It's surprising how much better you feel when you wake up to sunshine in the morning, makes such a difference I think. Definitely! Oh my gosh, it has been raining in my little slice of the world for days and days and days and people are getting really moody ... but we woke up to the sun shining the other day and I swear you could hear the happy sighs across the state. We don't do well with all day rain for days on end. As for the heat...well, all I can say is one person's misery is another's normal.

We have a forecast of 7 days over 100 degrees and on the day we leave for Australia and New Zealand, where it will be winter, it will be 108 as we are going to the airport!!! We haven't had much summer yet due to strange weather, but I can't wait to get back to winter.

To me, that's a beautiful summer day, not too hot not too cold. It was 35 (I pole it up, that's 95F) last week and I was definitely sweaty on my walk but it felt great. I love summer! As long as I can retreat into the AC, that is.

It's currently 16C (60F) here and the windows are flung wide open because that's how we roll here. It was 18C (64F) earlier!

The Weather Channel says that the Pacific Northwest is going to have a cooler than normal summer. Much cooler than normal for July. Well f*#k that! We had the wettest winter EVER and no spring to speak of and now this? That is just too much. We had 7-10 days of beautiful weather late May-early June. Today it is grey, gloomy, damp and 62 degrees (17 celsius). WTF? It is JUNE. Or, as we call it here, Junuary. I'm sitting on my bed and we have the windows open, and it is a titch brisk, lol! At least the days are long right now. I desperately need the light for my health and mood. And I love summer. I could happily live somewhere that was warm all year. Maui comes to mind.

That's true here too. It doesn't get totally dark at night time and I LOVE that. So much better than winter when we are lucky if we get 6 hours of daylight.
