I just read an article in our paper that a movie is in the works. I guess the cast hadn't been contacted yet but the article said they hope to have at least 20 members of the former cast in the movie.

I miss IMDB. That was my favourite place to discuss these types of things. I've not found a MB like IMDB replicated anywhere. Super excited for the movie.

I hope this actually happens. So many movies are announced as "in the works" and then never make it to the screen.

Yeah, like the article mentioned, most of them have gone on to other projects so getting them all together at the same time could be problematic. But, it's not like it's a series, just a 2-hour movie! |

I read somewhere as well that Dame Maggie Smith was not planning on appearing in any further DA productions. It will not be the same without her, but I think her death is a very appropriate storyline to kick off a movie.
I would love an update on Tom and the editor, as their impending romance seemed to be strongly hinted at in the finale. And Henry Talbot with a baby? Swoon! And Edith as a marchioness, I really loved her romance with Bertie and can't wait to see a glimpse of their fabulous life and if they ever tell Marigold the truth of her birth. And Thomas as butler, and.... and... and... lol
Really, the only thing I'm not too interested in is a big Anna and Bates storyline as it will likely involve the police and temporary heartbreak. Loved them in the beginning but by the time the Mr Greene situation came out, it was tiring.
