I'm tired today - I've hit my usual 3:00-3:30 wall, and I really want to grab just a little nap! But I can't. I have one more cake to finish today, and then a wedding cake to start tomorrow (it's a naked cake, so not too much work!) and two other cakes needing completely decorated tomorrow....and then I have to bake for two local schools Grade 8 graduations next week. One is Monday so I have to get it done on the weekend. And my email inbox is full, as is the charity email inbox for Icing Smiles. When do I get to sleep? honestly, I'm thrilled to be so freaking busy (and my pocketbook is very grateful) but some weeks this owning your own business stuff is all consuming!

Farmer's nap. 20 minutes, set a timer.

I'd take a "power half hour" and get up and have much more energy to do all the rest of my business.

Take a quick power nap. Better to take 30 mins now than to have to fix a mishap that could happen because you're tired.

You go grab just a little one!
Set a timer.

I agree with the other posters. Take the nap. Work 30 minutes later if you have to, but take the nap. You will be faster and more productive after and may even make up the time you missed during your nap.

Farmer's nap. 20 minutes, set a timer. LOL - how true that one is! DH always says, don't let me sleep more than 20 minutes.. and he is a farmer. That little nap is essential to making it through the rest of the day~

I'm a 30 minute napped as well. It's just enough without making me groggy.
