I have been working on this on and off for a couple weeks now, I am stumped. I wanted to maybe add hints of pink? but I really have hit a scrappers block and just can't get out of it. Any ideas, sketches, colors, embellies etc to help me move this one along? I would be ever so grateful for some suggestions... I've walked away a few times, but nothing is coming to me, but I really love these photos of my dd and want to scrap them. I will also make an accompanying page of the pics of her and her friends(probably a double pager) so I will probably want to make them somewhat cohesive. I am fortunate that my dd loves getting her pic taken <3, makes me happy

I think a few doilies might work for texture and colour (if you wanted to use pale pink...but I think white would be nice too) You could put them under the photos just peeking out to fill in a few of the angles created where your photos and mattes overlap, or even to go from the photos to the edge of the white paper to create "grounding"?

Maybe switch the smaller picture to the top, so the bigger pictures are on the bottom. Or add more to the bottom to help ground the smaller picture- a wide strip across the bottom (doesn't have to be on the bottom border of the pp, just going across near the bottom), embellishment clusters, journaling box, etc.
Or move the smaller picture to the next page, if the friend pics will be about the same size also.
Cute dress!

Such a beautiful, important pic...the first thing I would do is just use 1 pic and put the other 2 on another page.

I find the paper you used for matting is too busy and competes with the pretty pattern in her dress.
Maybe just mat with some black cs if you like to mat and put a wide strip of a pp either to the left or along the bottom instead?

Since it's prom, I think I'd dress up the page a bit more by adding a horizontal band of wide light colored ribbon.
The white ground is a pleasing break from the border pattern, but it's just too plain. Ribbon would add some texture without interfering with the layout.

You guys are awesome, thanks! I am going to go take a look at what I have and see what I can come up with- Nothing is glued down so I can start from scratch

I would lift up one of the photos, probably the one on the right, with some foam tape so it's highlighted.
She's lovely! I adore her dress.

I would do a larger title and maybe anchor it with a pink banner underneath so it's not floating on the page. I would do the pink banner and also cut a thin strip of that wide diagonal stripe you have tucked under one photo and tuck it under the banner so as to repeat it somewhere else on the page. I would also tuck the far edge of the banner under the left hand photo and maybe have it run across the tops of the pp mats on the right hand photo. Add a small embellishment cluster to the title to mimic the one you have on the bottom corner of the page. ( which I love btw ) Add another embellishment cluster at the edge of the page right underneath the photo on the left then your clusters create a visual triangle.
Thanks, this was fun. Your daughter looks beautiful. Love the dress.
