It's been very hit or miss for me, but today when I read THIS recap, I seriously had to watch it. Oh my freakin' hell. First, that was probably the best recap ever and I think he's written some pretty darn funny posts. But by the time I watched it till the end, it was such a depressing episode in so many ways. We have to start with Ryan. How seriously desperate are you to want that pathetic POS for a husband. That girl deserves all the unhappiness that comes her way for her sheer stupidity. But dear lord, please don't let any other person be affected by their stupid choices. Watching Ryan drive and the fact that she was not screaming for him to stop and insist on driving, my god, if something had happened she should have been held just as accountable. I seriously have no words for what I watched. That was beyond scary and I hope that Maci never has to allow Bently to be driven anywhere by him.  I'll stop there, I cannot handle Farrah or her mother. I'm just at a loss for how such a toxic relationship was formed and continues to exist?  |

Shamefully raising my hand here  Yup I still watch. Had never read that blog, but loved it! I can't even with Mackenzie and Ryan...not buying the story about marrying to make it look better regarding getting more time with Bentley. Think the video everyone has now seen of Ryan driving while on drugs will seal his fate with any judge. And Mackenzie is pretty stupid because she has a child. If I was the father of that kid, i'd be seriously worried about her judgement and the safety of my child!!! Seemed to me she was trying to manage the car situation so that maybe viewers wouldn't notice before she turned the camera's off where she should have demanded he pull over immediately when she first noticed. I'm not an expert but doesn't seem like 30 days of rehab would be adequate for a drug problem that seems to date back several years?? Have to wonder if he did a stint in rehab to manage the media considering the footage that was certainly going to come out. For all involved, I hope he did it for the right reasons and has continued sobriety. Feel bad for Amber, feel like she's come a long way. Things seem a little better with her and Gary so I hope that continues. Think Christina helps in that situation! Had hoped Matt wouldn't turn out to be the scumbag he seemed to be. Farrah, ugh, Farrah. That girl is just such a trainwreck. I don't understand how such a toxic relationship was formed and i'd love to know...it's so bizarre. I don't know why they don't just cut ties, at leas for an extended period and maybe try to work things out later (I actually believe Debra had said recently they haven't spoken in months.) I just do not understand how or why Debra would tolerate the abuse Farrah doles out? If my child continuously spoke to me like that i'd have very limited contacted. Debra packs a suitcase and thinks she'll stay a week or two  Watching this episode I could see the hurt, maybe jealousy beneath the surface in some of Farrah's tirades. Almost seems like she wants her mother to herself, yet pushes her away when she gets that. They are all very bizarre. |

Amber is such a sad case. She wants to feel needed and Gary is just a user. I don't think Polygraphs really show anything though. But I hope she can just be happy in her own for a while.
Ryan is awful. His parents have enabled him for so long. I have tinwonder about the mental status if someone wants to marry him in that condition.
I wish they would take Farrah off the show. She is just an awful human being. I think one of the reasons she hates that david is that he refuses to kiss her butt and calls her out on things. He is super creepy as well,!but at least I will give him points for standing up to her when nobody else does.
Catelynn and Tyler-what will they do when the MTV cameras roll out? They have matured so so much but don't have any marketable skills.

It's so sad seeing how Sophia is being raised and knowing what the outcome will be for her. I'm sure I'll watch the show next week and what always infuriates me about that show is even Dr. Drew kisses her ass. He never calls her out on her bullshit. So in reality Farrah has a long list of people-her mom, her dad, MTV producers, and even a therapist who continue to walk on egg shells around her. Even Simon has become more tolerant of the way she speaks. It just baffles me. |

The Ryan thing was awful.
The Farrah thing was awful.
The (fat foul-mouthed trailer trash I cant remember her name) with the old fiance was awful.
all in all, it was a pretty good show.

That recap is perfect; tfs! I'm not sure I have anything to add to what's already been said, but geez. I wondered what was really going on w/Ryan since we've seen Maci worrying about him for the past few weeks, and since she was going to cut off Jen/Larry also, I figured it had to be pretty bad, but holy cow! That scene (and I LOVED the warning, because just what were they gonna show that was disturbing by MTV standards?) was truly disturbing. The whole rush wedding was off, his mom was bawling, and why would he not want Bentley there? I mean, Chelsea and Cole got legally married before their big wedding, but they still told their family & friends about it. I wonder if Mackenzie did make him pull over after turning off the cameras or what? I kept waiting for her to pull the plug, first at the house when he was upset about getting ready, then during the car ride, but no, she married him and smiled the whole time. Ooookay. Also, Mackenzie is the world's oldest looking 20yo. She looks in her early-mid 30s. The thing that almost fascinates me with Farrah is that I am still surprised by her awful behavior. How can anything she says anymore be a surprise? I've been watching her for years, yet I'm continually shocked by the hateful words she hurls at others. Deb is a more composed mess (who kinda reminds me of my mom). Her fiance is an odd one. I can understand not liking Farrah or wanting respect, but his silent treatment is juvenile. I've got an odd crush on Simon who I guess is here for the fame & money, and all I can do is pray for poor Sophia who I don't think stands a chance. I also would like to drive down there and save Starburst. Dr Drew must know something the rest of us don't. I'd love to know what kind of Flowers In The Attic shit must be in that family...such a creepy bizarre dynamic they all have. This puts it so well. There really must be something dark in that family's past, and it's more than Farrah's previous claims of being hit with a belt as a child. Amber, I am really pulling for Amber, but dang, everyone in the entire world knew Matt was a creep and told her so. I do think it's odd that she's having the breakdown at this particular point (let's assume it's inappropriate texts to unnamed female), but not when his seven secret kids crawled out of the woodwork? Or not when she found out he propositioned a bunch of other teen moms before her? Oh well, I hope Amber has truly woken up and moves on, but I have a feeling the wedding is still on. |
