How is everyone tonight or today? Are you having a good day? I am laying here on the bed hoping my diffuser sorts itself out. It needs to be cleaned I think and I am not sure how to do it. It is a doTerra Petal Diffuser and it's a couple of years old. I am also diffusing some store bought orange blossom scented oil called Ruby and it smells amazing. It just isn't as strong as Young Living or doTerra so it doesn't give o so much scent. It's very pretty though and makes my room smell amazing.
I have to be up early in the morning to put on sprinklers. This is the worst part of summer. I have to move them every 30 minutes. It's ok, but I really hate doing it. (A lot).
Tomorrow afternoon we are going downtown maybe and walking through the inner harbour to see what's happening there. Tomorrow night we have a party and that should be fun, too. I think we are staying fairly late to see the fireworks.
What's on your agenda for today? Got anything fun planned?

I'm going to a small wedding reception later this afternoon. It's landlord and landlady of our local pub. They got married in a registry office on Wednesday and are having a celebration in the pub garden tonight so we'll walk round, spend a nice couple of hours then toddle home Could you get a timer for your sprinklers?

I use my phone for a timer. I set it to go off every 30 minutes. I have to move them every 30 minutes. That's what bugs me. I never get them in the right place to cover enough of the yard. All my neighbours have sprinkler systems. We do not. I find this part of summer very frustrating!

I suppose I was thinking of a permanent system that didn't need moving...those little pipes/tubes that along edges and then they wouldn't need moving and could be timed but maybe that's not do-able. Have a good sleep

I am in Norway for the weekend, meeting up with my knitting buddies. We have rented a lovely ski lodge about 15 km from Lillehammer and are having a wonderful time. We spent much of yesterday in Lillehammer, which is a delightful town, with a few yarn stores who benefited quite a bit from our visit. Today is a quieter day - a few of the group have gone for a drive over towards Fjordland, but I stayed behind with 3 or 4 others to knit a bit. It is nicely warm - mid 20s Celcius - so we'll go out onto the deck.

I`ve just stocked up with Library books on my Nook to start reading tonight. As for today I am taking rubber stamps off the blocks and re-mounting on foam. Never say I don`t know how to enjoy the high life. Hoping my DS and DGS might pop in for a visit and a few hugs later on.

My sister and bil arrived last night for a quick visit, we're watching the Rugby and then going to Costco. We'll also visit with my Mum

I am having a slow morning, I've not been right all week after overdoing it for my big event last weekend. And my platelets are still not right, they went up to nearly 600 so I was at risk of a blood clot! I'm kind of tired of being sick.
So, we shall take it easy today although we do have to go and do some beekeeping jobs.

Take care and look after yourself craftykitten. I've thought about maybe having bees when I fully retire - how long have you had bees?

We've had bees for 5 years, my OH had them before we met and now we do it together. It's actually a business for us, we have about 50 beehives in various places. 2 as a hobby would be lovely
