Time to start a new thread but without trump's tweets.
Friday night Rachel Maddow did a piece on trump's behavior. On how he wants people to be distracted by his tweets and to spend a way too much time talking about them instead of his actions.
I think she is right in that we should pay more attention to what him and his little band of destroyers are doing then what he is saying I his tweets.
Although its kind hard to ignore his abusive replusive tweets.

linkThe "action" that I think is wrong is this story by SF Gate " US denies visas for Afghanistan's all-girl robotics team." So we reached a point we are afraid of a team of girls from Afghanistan that only wanted to participate in a robotics competition. Sad.

It makes me sick.

As we speak congress is handing churches the right to preach politics and monetarily support right wing candidates WITHOUT losing their tax free status. It's not even on anyone's radar because of the fixation on the luntic in the White House. But this is a country fixated on the Kardashians and the Teen Moms so we are Doomed as lucyg would say.

Not sure about the rest of you but I am not thrilled about my voter information being sent to his inquiry team investigating voter fraud. This from the guy who won't release his taxes.

I agree with everything said by everyone above, but I still reserve the right to screech about his tweets if the mood should strike me.

Yeah, and their excuse is that the information is out there available to anyone who wants it. Then I say, if that is true, get it by gathering it from other sources, not my voting info.

That's the problem, all of the information they are requesting is not available to everyone. And even those who can buy it don't have access to all the information. And the big question is what are they going to do with it other than putting a big target on their servers storing all this information.

According to Sarah fuckabee sanders and KellyAnne CONway " ohhh trump would never invite violent behaviors"
Yet he shows up with a video of him punch out CNN. He thinks it's hilarious.
His supporters will see it as it's a okay to treat press like shit and take action against.
(Add that to his comments of shooting someone on Fifth Ave, calling for violence against others at his rallies...)
Yeah. Big fucking idiot in the WH.
Anyone who thinks that a sitting president should be doing this is just as bat shit crazy.

From Politico...
"Repeal Obamacare with a delay in implementation, Sasse says politi.co/2uerXZm"
If the Republicans did this and even if they delay the repeal of certain parts of the ACA like pre-existing conditions it would cause chaos in the insurance market. Cause they don't like uncertainty. And until they have a replacement or conformation there will not be a replacement and what it is they don't what decisions to make for the future.

The federal government will say the people they removed had somehow voted fraudulently. And our idiot governor is only too happy to help in this process.

Sure is a nice way to identify all the Dems.
You know, the ones who aren't people?
First, make the list.
Second, round them up.
Third, put them on trains to work camps.
Fourth, dig very large holes in the ground.

❤️❤️Dan Rather
Another day, another series of attacks by the President of the United States against the press. With the latest video tweet of Mr. Trump in essence symbolically attacking CNN, we once again witness the dangerous debasing of our democratic institutions. To be outraged is obvious, but increasingly I feel the creep of dread and sadness. Dread at a sense that no one knows, least of all I fear Mr. Trump, where this all may lead. And sadness that this spectacle is now the norm of the United States. I have asked before, and will continue to repeat, where are the profiles in courage in the GOP who will say that tax cuts and Supreme Court justices are not enough of a tradeoff for the crisis they are helping inflict on our nation, and world? But if Mr. Trump and his confederates think that this kind of bullying will intimidate reporters, I think they will find themselves sadly mistaken. It will only embolden the press, which has a Constitutionally protected role to play in our democracy. If we have a President and a Congress failing to comport themselves with decorum, it is only more important that the press holds them accountable.

From ABC News...
"Former Pres. Bill Clinton, former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton cheered while attending theater performance in NYC. abcnews.com/politics"
While watching the video showing Hillary and Bill walking in and people standing and clapping I wondered if that would ever happen if trump walked into a room full of people that weren't his hand picked supporters. My guess is no.

How about this item: "This one shouldn’t come as a surprise at all. The Trump White House is evaluating whether or not they should shut down the White House Council on Women and Girls. Now, the fact that a Republican administration is considering eliminating this group whose mandate is to provide the president with advice related to the welfare of women and girls isn’t new. George W. Bush did the same with the Office for Women’s Initiative and Outreach when he took over from Bill Clinton. And Republicans aren’t exactly known for being champions of women’s issues. But as awful as a person that George W. Bush is (and we have to admit that he’s looking marginally better daily in comparison to Trump), sexual predator is not one of the labels we can use to describe him. It is truly fitting that under a serial sexual assaulter, the White House isn’t sure that this council is relevant any more. "

This tweet from Ben Rhodes "This is how we used to fly to Afghanistan or Iraq bc of wars only now it's London bc of protests and Trump's unpopularity." Is in response to this story. " From a White House source - "There is a window of opportunity for the president to visit Britain when he is in Europe later this month. It is likely it will be hastily arranged andvitbisvposdible no official confirmation of his arrival will be given until at least 24 hrs before tonstop any large-scale protest against his visit from being mobilized".

From Politico Dan Diamond...
"Eight years ago today, right now: Obama was wrapping another town hall where he took questions on his health plan."
Where is tiny hands today? At his golf course in NJ and I'm sure he is holding a town hall meeting on the links about his health care plan.

linkExcerpt from an interview MSNBC's Joy Reid had with Hertitage Foundation about health care.. REID: It doesn't give people health care for you to talk about the free market. Talk about the free market makes you feel good. Doesn't give people a medical card. BINION: The government won't solve all of our problems. REID: Why weren't those people insured — why weren't those people insured under the free market before Obamacare? BINION: More people will be insured if health insurance is cheaper — REID: Why weren't those people insured under the free market system we had before Obamacare? BINION: Many of them could have been and chose not to. They weren't insured until the government forced them to be.Knowing he was caught, Binion then derailed the conversation with lies about the bill's cuts to Medicaid, but for one brief, shining moment, the Republicans' central thesis about health care was laid bare, an all-too-rare occurrence." No you dimwit the insurance companies wouldn't insure all people until the ACA made them. Sick people cost money and insurance companies don't like to insure things that they know will cost them money if they can get away with it. And when the Republicans use terms like "they can chose to get coverage" it translate to insurance companies will once again chose not to insure sick people. This is another #MAGA moment.

linkAs I have said I'm not going to pay attention to trump's tweets but instead pay attention to what they are doing like this.. From The NY Times "Counseled by Industry. Not staff EPA chief is off to a blazing start". From the article. "WASHINGTON — In the four months since he took office as the Environmental Protection Agency’s administrator, Scott Pruitt has moved to undo, delay or otherwise block more than 30 environmental rules, a regulatory rollback larger in scope than any other over so short a time in the agency’s 47-year history, according to experts in environmental law." He is making these decisions to "undo, delay, orvotherwise block" largely without the input of the 15,000 career employees at the agency. But instead turns to these guys... "Instead, Mr. Pruitt has outsourced crucial work to a network of lawyers, lobbyists and other allies, especially Republican state attorneys general, a network he worked with closely as the head of the Republican Attorneys General Association. Since 2013, the group has collected $4.2 million from fossil fuel-related companies like Exxon Mobil, Koch Industries, Murray Energy and Southern Company, businesses that also worked closely with Mr. Pruitt in many of the 14 lawsuits he filed against the E.P.A." Talk about a fox in the hen house...

At this point I don't care how he is removed. Find whatever evidence is needed, have him certified unstable and insane and lock him in a padded room, whatever is takes to get this jackass out of office. He's over the edge with no control and the rest of the world has lost any and all respect for the United States. I know I have no respect for our President, and even though I have not always agreed with every President's decisions in the past, I did not have the fear that I do now for my family and friends.
That CNN/wrestling video was embarrassing. I mean I can't stand the guy and I'm embarrassed for him. Does nobody in his family think he's lost his fucking mind? I guess money does blind you to that. He is supporting all those leaches, and so are we to some degree, which makes me want to vomit. Now we all know whe Melania and the kid were so reluctant to move. Who the hell would want to live with that unhinged asshole?
Don't even get me started on the Sarah Huckabee Sanders dipshit. She's tossed her career down the toilet defending Trump. Once he's gone, so is she, and people won't forget how she tried to defend him. Spicer too.

Watching MSNBC and Richard Engel was on from Mosel Iraq. He has a helmet and body armor on and there looks to be armed guards around him while he reports.
Looking at that and thinking about trump's video from yesterday and it occurred to me these reporters go into harm's way to deliver their "fake" news. All the while it's being reported the Commander-in-Chief is planning on sneaking into the UK so not to give protestors time to gather because his ego can't handle it.
What a little coward.
By the way I was being sarcastic about the "fake" news.
