I grew up in Southern California and wore vans before they became a thing. I had a pair of Hawaiian print slipons in 1980 when we moved to North Carolina. The looks I got at school about my weird shoes...

The Woodstock ones are my favorites, followed by the ones with all of the kids' faces, and then the blue ones with the all over Snoopy print.  So cute!! |
