My all in one inkjet printer is dying. I need a wireless one so I can keep it in another room if necessary. I never had a lot of luck with Canon's wireless. Is another brand more reliable? I have a windows 10 pc.

I actually managed to get my canon laser to work wirelessly but I have to turn it off and on every time. It's an improvement over how it was before, when i had to remove it and re-add it to my devices every time. I've only had it hooked up for about a day though, so there's time for it to turn on me. The all in one needs to work really well wirelessly because it's the one that everyone will use over the network. Maybe a newer canon will work better.

It doesn't matter what is going on in my life, there's a Pea with the same problem!!! I need a new printer. I have a Canon Pixma, which I really loved, but after 4 years is just not working well anymore. I'm waiting for Prime day!

I have an HP office jet pro all in one. Unfortunately it's huge, but it's been reliable for 4 or so years. I picked it as it let's you choose black ink only and prints fast. I wanted the color option but most printers suck the color ink for normal black text documents which I print often.

Mine is an Epson Workforce, from Costco. Knock on wood it's never given me any problems. I connect wirelessly, although I use a Mac not a PC. Not sure if that matters though.

I've had the best luck with Cannon. I had an HP and an Epson and I had SO much trouble out of both of those that I swore off buying a printer for the longest time. I had to buy a new printer for work and tried a Cannon. I liked it so much I got one for home. Sorry you are having trouble with yours! It's SO frustrating when stuff doesn't work right!

I literally just got off the phone with my husband and he was at Costco buying an Epson printer! Our HP Office Pro died - a few months outside the warranty(of course). I think Costco extends the warranty for another year. Is that right? He was supposed to check on that but I bet he forgot. gale w you might also want to consider the cost of ink refills. They add up! Costco will refill certain cartridges for much cheaper than new ones. I did have trouble with one of the HP refilled cartridges and took it back to Costco. They refunded my money and the Costco guy told me that they have trouble with the HP refills more than any other brand. They have a list of printer cartridges that they will refill (at the photo counter).

We buy 99% of all our electronics from Costco because of their extended warranty and absolutely no hassle program. We had a TV die during the extended warranty. I thought we'd be given some kind of prorata or need to look into repair or some other reduce refund as we HAD used the TV for 19 months - nope - the entire amount refunded without absolutely no problem.

I have a Brother color laser, all in one and it stays connected without issue. I had an HP inkjet but it never could stay connected and I ended up just keeping a usb connected to it and plugging in my laptop when I needed to print.....though at that time our internet connection was mediocre at best so it probably wasn't all the printer's fault.

I have an HP and the best think about it is the instant ink subscription. I save a ton on printer ink. I think it's the HP Envy 4645. It's a photo printer too, but I don't love that and am considering getting the Epson PM 400 for that, but for everyday printing, I like the HP.

All printers are shit. My next printer will be a laser printer, B&W only. lol I agree. I've been using a brother laser printer for years, it goes on sale every year around back to school time for about $50 for the basic version and $100 for the wireless version. Toner cartridges are like $50 but they last freakin' forever.

All printers are shit. My next printer will be a laser printer, B&W only. I have a b&w laser printer but I need an all-in-one. We have to make copies often for our farm taxes and whatnot, and some require color. I don't have the $$ or the space for an all-in-one color laser printer. gale w you might also want to consider the cost of ink refills. There's no costco here, but I order refills for really cheap from monoprice.com. I think the last time they were under $2 each. Sounds like Brother or Canon might be my best bet. I have had trouble with Epson printers clogging and I don't need photo quality so I'm steering away from that brand. I like the quality of the canon printers but the wireless is a headache. But canon has US based support and will help you even if your printer is out of warranty. I don't know why I'm agonizing over this decision. It'll be outdated and quit working in a year or two. lol

I love mine, I only spent $50 at Best Buy a year ago, so for that money I should have gotten another for DD - but so far it's been great! Canon MX90 is what it is. Wireless printer and copier.

I spoke too soon about my wireless laser. I had to turn it off and on 3 times before it would print something today. I guess I'll just use the usb cable and not have it wireless, and get another brand for the all in one.
eta: even with the cable connected I had to turn it off and on to get it to work. gah.
