I'm at the Vendor Faire and scored the Photoplay Mad Plaid Christmas collection pack and Cartopia by Carta Bella! I'm spending a little more than I thought I would but having a good time doing it!

I did have a good time! It was not too crowded. I came home with 5 bottles of NuVo crystal drops for $10, 3 6x6 Doodlebug pads for $10, 3 AdornIt Art Play mini coloring books for $12, and six or seven different scrapbook kits. They had a lot of new stuff there, the only thing I didn't find was the new Authentique lines. Since I don't have a LSS anymore, it was exciting to see the product up close.
The big new thing seemed to be water colors. They were everywhere. Pencils, trays of water paints, special brushes. I was not interested in that but my daughter picked up a lot of watercolor supplies.

Sounds like a great time! Do you remember which booth you got the Mad for Plaid? I'm heading to the expo in a few weeks and want to keep my eye out.

It was in the middle of the floor and they had all kinds of kits and single papers. I'm sorry cbscrapper , my receipt did not have the name of the store on it. myboysnme, did you have a good time?

I saw lots of new plaid papers at Escape Scrapbooking. Was it there? I'm not sure. It was in the middle of the floor and they had all kinds of kits and single papers. myboysnme , did you have a good time? It sounds like maybe it was Nicole Petersen. Her stuff is mostly packaged in kits and almost all new stuff but a bit pricey. She has some single papers as well - that's where I scored Shark Attack at Expo. Escape had their plaid papers (which were all new) in bins so you would have looked through bins to find them. I loved CKC! I had just gone to Expo 2 weeks earlier and I loved that one too. I was there 10-2 on Friday and 9-5 on Sat and was on the vendor floor the entire time. I had to sit down often because my feet were killing me. At the very end on Sat I held out hope that SEI would drop the price of their kits and finally with 15 mins to go I bit the bullet to pay full price and she did reduce the price at the last minute. Had I known that I would have bought even more because their $20 kits were packed with stuff. They are only going to one more show in Texas and then selling everything off and their trucks they said. Adorn It said they are closing up also. Scrap That said he was frustrated about the sales at CKC compared to Expo and didn't want to come back but I think he will. Echo Park said last year they might not come back but this year they said they will be back next year. The new place Mud Puddles had several of the new lines we've seen here - Shimelle and Amy Tangerine and some others. I bought some but not as much as I thought I would initially. Some of the booths seemed smaller I think because they were paying for smaller spaces and cramming their stuff in a bit more. Friday was more crowded than Saturday and people were a little ruder. I met a lurker here named Christine who I strongly encourage to come out of lurkdom. She knew me by my name here which was so funny! Very nice friendly scrapper who needs to join in here. My favorite places were Echo Park, SEI, Scrapbook Memories/Mudd Puddles, Creek Bank Creations, Stamping Station and Escape Scrapbooking. I do not buy stamps, dies or mixed media stuff really. 99% of my haul was paper, stickers, embellies - enamel dots by the hand full especially at Echo Park. I so wish we had run into each other someplace!

I'm guessing it was Nicole Petersen - she's about the only one who seems to carry the new stuff.
