What do RefuPeas think of these, Heirloom Stamp and Paper Shows? Any reviews? We've got a family event and I don' t know if it will be worth breaking away from the herd for a few hours. I'm without a LSD and seeing new product in person would be a fun change. www.heirloompro.com/index.html/

I haven't been able to go the last three years because it is the same weekend as another event that I have to attend.
The last time I went there were less vendors that the years prior, but I still found plenty to spend my money on.
I enjoy the demonstrations and make and takes.
There are lots of examples of things that you are allowed to photograph.
There are door prizes, and many booths have show specials.
Unless you know something is a really great deal, write down what you're interested in and comparison shop. Sometimes that same item/line of product will be in a bunch of booths and the price can vary widely.

There is one coming here in less than two weeks, and I was thinking about going, but the list of vendors seems relatively small. Two vendors that I like are on the list, but I already bought from them at recent conventions. I went to a stamp convention in January, the Scrapbook Expo in March, and GASC in June.
I need to spend more time crafting and less time (and money) spending.

The stamp convention near me (Carson CA) is usually fun. I didn't go this year because there were only a handful of vendors. I'd suggest looking up the vendors on their websites and see if you like their style. If enough of them interest you then go for it.

It was a good size, I thought. I was actually pretty impressed. I think I spent more here than the last scrap expo I attended. I had been wanting to go to this Carson event for a few years, but the weekends are somehow inconvenient. I'll definitely try to go at least once a year.
