In Bucks County, PA. I've been following this story since it first popped up on my Facebook (it's local to me). At first three wasn't much coverage and I think a lot of people just assumed heroin related, young adult men, who cares, but since they've linked the four disappearances it's now getting a lot of coverage. I keep looking at the fb comments, seems lots of people suspect the guy whose parents' property is being searched. They've been searching since Sunday and still haven't found these kids. So awful for their families and friends. 6abc.com/news/man-linked-to-4-missing-men-case-called-person-of-interest/2199000/

I have been reading about this over on Web Sleuths. Crazy! Zee since you are local - whats your thoughts on it? Are they hiding? dead? drugs? I keep watching the DA's press conferences. Foul play is definitely suspected. The parents of the POI own a cement company and many many acres of land (!). They have cadaver dogs, the FBI combing the area, a backhoe, copters over the area, using all their resources. It's being called Bucks County's biggest case ever. The area they're searching has fields but is also heavily wooded. From some of the comments I've read, which of course are just rumors, the arrested guy is known as a weed dealer and a psycho. Who knows if that's true. Nothing has been revealed that indicates heroin, but idk. Unfortunately I don't think they'll be found alive at this point, this makes me really sad because I have a son the same age as a couple of these kids and I can't imagine how their parents feel. I wouldn't be able to handle the comments, that's for sure.

Also mom while creeping on Facebook and following a Google trail, I came across Web Sleuths, which reminded me that some here read that site often so that's why I posted. Posts there kept being removed, I guess the TOS/mods didn't like rumors being posted? I had already read the POI's name being put forth on fb before he was ever arrested or named by the DA. I hope social media helps solve this case quickly.

Zee yeah, I was researching the guy arrested on gun charges. He has had some serious mental illness in the past. And then add in that there were gun shots heard over at the old farmhouse on Sunday - I think there is zero chance the boys will come home. What I cant wrap my head ahead is how they would dispose of the body's so quickly & without it being obvious like new cement.

I've been reading some on Facebook and some of the accusations are so wild (like the boys burned a guy in Philly before they went missing) I never know what to believe.

I just had the story (in last 24 hours) come into my radar. I wondered how he overpowered 4 boys at once, but now it seems that each boy disappeared individually.
It won't end well, and is a sad situation.

My uniformed guess is a marijuana deal gone bad - the suspect supposedly had a traumatic brain injury and a lot of guns. He arranged the deal then killed the men and took their money.

Local story for me as well. The person of interest posted bail today too, I didn't see how much it was though. I don't think it looks good at this point. It is strange that they are being so tight lipped about things though.

Very sad for the families of the missing boys. We had something similar happen in this area end of last year. Four men mysteriously disappeared around the same time and their bodies were eventually found eight months later on the property of an ex-cop, believed to be related to a cocaine deal. Another man, a school security guard, was also charged. Later another retired cop committed suicide and they suspect it was connected.

Oh, the Facebook sleuths..."check their phones, see where they pinged" gee I'm glad you suggested that, Sherlock. Durrr.
I hope there are answers soon, this is pretty upsetting to me (probably because I'm overly emotional and my son is their age). He's about had it with me telling him to stay away from the weed man, not to try heroin ever, stay off of tinder, etc etc etc.
If the kid who just made bail is innocent, his life is going to be very difficult after being suspected like this. His family has money apparently, that was 100k they came up with for bail. ($1 million was the bail.)
of course, the property they own alone is worth millions.

Zee so I was talking in private message with a local there and they seem to strongly believe the missing men are tied to an incident that a young man was beat and ended up losing half his skull. The theory was crazy at first, but then when you start looking at who's friends with who on FB and the pieces start making a bit more sense.

mom I don't know about that story. I rarely watch the news anymore and I guess this is why...makes you start to lose faith in humanity. I only became aware of this, and the story of the young girl who was shot in the road rage incident, because of Facebook. Thanks for sharing, interesting angle.

This is fairly local to me too. It is heartbreaking to think that these four young men all could just disappear like this. Even if it was drug related, they have parents who are suffering right now, wondering what happened to them.
Watching the press conference earlier today, I got the impression that they know they are dead and buried somewhere on the property. The local news was reporting that the bail was so high for the POI because he is a flight risk. I am surprised he made bail.

Local news is reporting that they have re-arrested the POI because he tried to sell the car of one of the missing young men a few days after he disappeared.

I have also been following this case I feel so bad for the 4 men and their families. I hope the parents of the POI do not bail him out again. And in today's news conference, the DA stated that he hoped the parents of the POI would cooperate and answer questions about their son.

I'm still following, but I'm going to try and refrain from posting speculations and theories not based on facts.
As for facts, I bet his parents could still make bail for him. I hope everyone decides to cooperate but if I was that kid's parent, I wouldn't say a word without a lawyer present.
They are being very tight-lipped with info other than the suspect reportedly was trying to sell the diabetic kid's car after he went missing, and they found that kid's insulin and glucometer in his car (things he would need to live if he's Type I, which he probably is given his age and the fact that it was mentioned at all). They had already found the car on the suspect's property. Also makes it unlikely the diabetic kid is hiding somewhere on purpose without his insulin.
