I am finding that I get a very good image with my clear stamps without using anything. So far the images are clear without repeat stamping unless the ink is not great. My balkier inks always require a repeat no matter which positioner or block I use.

Midorica...I hate it when that happens, you're patiently waiting for your package just to see it stuck in USPS limbo. On the tracking page look at the est delivery date, you can bet that is when your package will arrive. For some reason the USPS tracking system seems to be hours, sometimes up to a couple of days behind, depending on when your package was sent. Since I see your package has been sitting there for a week, I'd give the the USPS a call, that's a little too long for it to be stuck in limbo. Thanks jerseystampinguy. I've been feeling even more antsy because there is no estimated delivery date Just tried calling and emailing USPS, but wasn't able to do either since I'm in Canada, and there doesn't seem to be an option to put in international information on either format. Have emailed SSS now to see if there is anything they can do. Sigh, this sucks.

Someone on a video recommended the very thinnest foam you can find at a craft store.

Woo-hoo! I'll be anxiously waiting for my notice. I also ordered the Oxide Inks, so unless they have those in stock too then I bet I'll have to wait for those to come in. They are in stock... I ordered the new Oxide ink pads and reinkers and they arrived in less than a week. SaveI am still waiting on the oxide inks a reinkers I ordered two or three weeks ago from Marcos. They still say waiting to ship

Sorry midorica. I ordered mine from the U.K. and it shipped immediately. It got to San Francisco (four hours away) and it sat there for two weeks. Than it went to Oakland and sat for two days. That's even farther away. A few days later it showed up in perfect shape. I expected it to be all banged up but it wasn't. I have no idea why it sat there. So don't give up hope.. This thing seems to confuse the heck out of the PO. when it crosses the border.

Got my reply from SSS. Apparently it could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks to get here And they can't track it after Chicago, so that's that. Fingers crossed it gets here sooner than expected, with no damage and no duties!

For clear stamps you could use the rubber stamp side and add the foam. Genius! Just tried this and it worked perfectly. I never use extra foam with cling stamps (and don't have that many of them) but the extraction with clear stamps does make a difference.

Sigh, this sucks. midorica - I had a similar thing with an SSS parcel - it apparently got to Chicago, left the country and then disappeared (I'm in New Zealand). I reported it lost because it hadn't turned up after a month and SSS started an enquiry (they will need to do it as the seller) but it turned up in the end. Just took a really long time - about 6-7 weeks I think. I think the service SSS use is something like 1st class international and though USPS say there's a delivery time of 7-21 days to most countries they don't actually guarantee anything. SaveSave

Mine arrived from oozak yesterday. It is so nice and sturdy. Hopefully I'll have time to play with it tonight.
