Woo-hoo! I'll be anxiously waiting for my notice. I also ordered the Oxide Inks, so unless they have those in stock too then I bet I'll have to wait for those to come in.

I called Marco this morning. They started with the January orders, which started going out yesterday. They are still working on January's orders. Also, although they ordered enough to fulfill ALL the pre-orders, only half their shipment came. They are expecting the rest by Monday. It sounds as though some of the bigger online stores may have gotten theirs shipped first (common in the scrapbook industry).
I did not pre-order till late June, and only one person is available to fill orders right now. She is working as fast as she can. I am not sure if she is the only employee to fill orders because they are small, or if any other employees that would help are on vacation, and I did not ask. She did not tell me a specific time frame to expect mine, but I am not concerned. I know there is one at Marco with my name on it, and I will have it in my hands sooner than later.

Oh, fabulous! Do you remember when you ordered? Then I'll know if I need to start getting excited I ordered on January 20th. SaveThanks! I didn't order as early as I had thought, it was April, so I'll just need to cool my jets for a bit. But I'm still thrilled that they have arrived and are shipping!

My platform has been stuck at the USPS facility in Chicago since 10.41 am yesterday! Why won't it move, what's going on? Taking deep breaths to calm down the crazy but I'm afraid it may be too late

I had mine pre-ordered from FunkyJunky and got restless because they are not getting their first shipment until next week. Like a FOOL, I canceled my order with them and ordered from Marcos thinking they had a zillion there already. If they are fulfilling the orders from January, it will be a long time before they get to mine I don't think I have the nerve to go and beg for my old spot at the first place. This is a soap opera but hopefully it will be well worth it!

I got this from an email that Marco's Paper sent out this morning:
Since Wednesday, we have received confirmations from suppliers that at least 800 and perhaps more should arrive this week (at present, we have taken advance orders for more than 1,000). Given some time, that should get us through several months of orders – I will be back at the mail center by midweek and will jump in to help Debbie and Patti get them out as quickly as possible.
If you haven’t taken the plunge yet, this is one final chance to take advantage of the advance order price of $31.99 (20% off the MSRP with free shipping in the contiguous U.S.). When I get back to the mail center, it will go to the MSRP and usual shipping charges will apply.
So if you are thinking about buying I would't wait too long to get the $31.99 price with free shipping!
*I am not affiliated with Marco's Paper in any way. I just think they are a great company and their customer service is outstanding!

I got the same email from Marco's. What I understand from the email, combined with the conversation I had last week with a gal who works at Marco's, is:
They have 1,000 pre-orders now, but only 800 stamp platforms currently between the Marco's warehouse and those being shipped this week. They were apparently taking more pre-orders at a convention (understandable, and not an issue, as long as they ship in the order received as they have said they are doing). However, when I saw the 1,000 orders received vs. 800 being shipped, I did have a moment of panic, thinking I might be in that 200 who would have to wait awhile longer.
Last week she said they had ordered enough to cover all pre-orders and some cushion besides. Either they are not actually receiving as many platforms as were pre-ordered, or they got a couple hundred additional pre-orders at convention and online just since I spoke to her.
Last week only one individual was there packaging up orders for shipping. As of Wednesday, there will be two more people to help, so the orders will hopefully go out faster starting Wednesday.
She did tell me last week that orders are being sent out from Marco's in the order they were received. It's the possibility that the demand is higher than expected or can be sent out by the manufacturer that has me concerned. I did not pre-order until June 27th, so I may have a bit of a wait.
I really wish I had pre-ordered sooner.

Taking deep breaths to calm down the crazy but I'm afraid it may be too late So my package has still not moved It's been at the USPS Chicago International Distribution Centre since July 12th, and I'm starting to get a little worried... does anyone have any advice? Am I right to be concerned and does this warrant a call/email to USPS?

Midorica...I hate it when that happens, you're patiently waiting for your package just to see it stuck in USPS limbo. On the tracking page look at the est delivery date, you can bet that is when your package will arrive. For some reason the USPS tracking system seems to be hours, sometimes up to a couple of days behind, depending on when your package was sent. Since I see your package has been sitting there for a week, I'd give the the USPS a call, that's a little too long for it to be stuck in limbo.

I got mine this morning (July 17). I ordered it from Scrapbook.com last Thurs, they mailed it Fri and this morning it was in my grimy paws. WOOHOO!!!! I'm a happy man. So glad I waited to get it. I made my own MISTI knock-off a few months back but I absolutely love Tim's. The only thing I dislike is the depth of the platform, it's only about as deep as the width of the magnets (~1/8th"), can't really fit anything else in there (for instance, a thin piece of foam to make stamping clear stamps easier), you could put the foam in there but the cover won't close completely. Other than that one little pet peeve of mine, it's awesome. Nice and heavy, sturdy, and I don't forsee that cover cracking (even if used to bean someone over the head).

For clear stamps you could use the rubber stamp side and add the foam. But for rubber, it might be too thick. I just saw a review and the reviewer did use it with foam once to show how it stamps better with it. But it did look like the cover didn't close all the way. It still worked fine with the foam though. I think you can get ultra thin foam-maybe that would work better.

I'll give that a try. I figured I won't need the foam since the rubber stamps already have it but the clear stamps may not always stamp clear without it.
