I just signed up for hero arts. I hope it's worth it. This will be my first time subbing for anything.

I used to sub to SSS but canceled when I kept skipping them. They just weren't my style anymore.
Not a sub, but I've purchased kits from HA and MFT. The both kits are packed with items and in my opinion are a good value. The MFT kit price changes depending on what is in the kit.

I've seen the Hero Arts kit online and it looks awesome. I saw some YouTube videos of the cards people made with the last couple of kits and I was pretty tempted.

I love Hero Arts and I've looked at it many times, but some of the themes aren't my style (I trend towards cutesy). They look to be a great value though!
I sub to SU's Paper Pumpkin and enjoy that (disclosure I'm a demo ) although I would be happy if it was all cards every month. I generally always love the stamp set they include and at the price point I don't worry if I don't care for one as much here and there.
TBH I wish the SC card kit would have stuck around. Loved the size of the stamp set and getting the 6x6 pad. If they ever get rid of stamps with their kits I would be done subbing.

I've looked at some of the HA ones and think they look like really good value, but I don't like some of the themes. Plus I have so many stamps & dies already and lots of cardstock from Papertrey Ink.

Well, I jumped in and subscribed to Hero Arts too! I like that I can cancel at any time. Here's hoping the August kit will be something I love!

So, my credit card was charged $34.95 but I haven't received any notification for the August kit. I thought I was supposed to be able to see it before I buy? jstblondie, did you get charged too?

I did a 3 month sub to SSS because i regretted missing the kits after watching Vicki P's 10 card videos. Then the kits started sucking! I'v skipped the last 3-4 just waiting for one to spark my fancy.

MDscrapaholic and jstblondie - From the HA website. • Kits come out on the first MONDAY of the month, and start shipping that FRIDAY • If you decide you want to cancel, do so on the 15th of the month prior to the release of the next month's kit. • Terms and conditions subject to change without notice. The bold is why I didn't subscribe. You don't get to see the kit before "purchasing". I'm pretty particular in what I like so this was a no-go for me. heroarts.com/pages/subscribeThis is in the FAQ's - since it's your first month you are charged immediately. WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED FOR MY SUBSCRIPTION? Your card will be billed immediately for all first time purchases including the first month of a kit subscription, single-kit purchases, and other products. For subscriptions, your card will be billed on the 25th of each month during the term of the subscription.

@giantsfan, thanks. I did see that on the website, but I thought I also saw that subscribers would get a preview. I guess I was wrong because I can't find that info now.
Here's hoping we love the August kit!

I subscribed to Hero Arts kit last month and I just joined FSJ, so just subscribed to the Bloom box from them. I ordered a few SSS kits, but like someone said, they aren't really great right now.
