Do you leave them in the bag? Or do you have glass or plastic containers? What about canisters? Which ones are big enough to get a scoop in and keep food fresh?

I tried searching again using "pantry" as a key word and this thread didn't show up either! SO thanks again for the link.
And I'd still be grateful for any suggestions anyone else has as well. On the other thread it seemed like Modular Mates and Lock n Lock were clearly leading. I'll look into those also.

I use the Modular Mates. There's one big enough for five lbs of flour, one for five lbs of sugar, five pounds of rice, etc. You might have to figure out which is which. You can message me if you want to know which sizes I'm using. I'll measure them for you.

I use canisters that sit on my counters. (I have very little storage).. Flour and sugar go in the canisters.. tea bags in the third one, and misc stuff in the little one. I don't have any problems with bugs/mold/humidity.. so works for us

I use canisters and store them in the pantry. Flour, sugar, brown sugar. I wish the canisters were bigger, but don't see myself replacing them anytime soon.

I use these from target and set them on my counter. I have zero cupboard space. Never had a problem with any sort of bugs or anything. ETA:Okay can't get a link to work, anyway they are the Montana jars with the lids.

I use mostly Rubbermaid type containers, but not all one brand or even one color. I bought them as I needed them. I'm more about function that form with stuff like this, so they stay mis-matched!
The requirements for me is that each container holds the whole amount of whatever goes in it like 5 lbs of flour, 1 lb of brown sugar, a large bag of rice, etc. and that the lid not only seal well, but be easy to put on and take off. I like to be able to grab a container while cooking and get the lid on and off with one hand while the other is busy doing something else!

The set came with 2 different sizes of tall canisters (one for Spaghetti noodles, one I use for flour), a smaller canister that I use for brown sugar, and 2 medium sized canisters that I use for things like goldfish crackers or wheat thins. I loved them so much, that I bought 2 more large canisters to store potato chips.

Lock & Lock only lasts a few years if you're microwaving them daily at work.
