Hello- I was looking for a recommendation on a wide format printer for printable's. I do not necessarily need a high priced photo printer but I do want high quality printing on card stock. Also, wifi and AirPrint so I can from my iPhone. I was looking at the Canon Pixma but there is also Epson to consider.
Any feedback from you would be most appreciated. This has been a long time want that I decided not to delay until I win the lottery.
Thanks!

I have the Canon Pixma Pro 100 and I really like it. It is on the pricey side. I lucked out and got the display model on clearance from my local office supply store. It does take up a lot of counter space. It has eight different ink cartridges but they don't generally run out at the same time so I just replace as they run out to avoid the sticker shock of buying all at once.

I don't know about wide format, but I have two different canon printers and it's a nightmare getting them connected to the network. I finally gave up. My laser printer is wired now and the inkjet, which doesn't print anymore anyway, is only used for scanning in my daughter's room (also wired). I'm saving up for a brother color laser and hope it works better.

I've had my Epson Workforce 7520 wide format printer for a few years now and bought it when the price of them became reasonable enough to justify having one. Its connected through wifi, has AirPrint and prints great quality printables as well as photos (although I rarely print photos with it because I have a PictureMate). Most of the scrapbooking layouts I create are hybrid and I love that I can insert a 12x12 piece of card stock and print my journaling or anything else directly on the page! Initially I was purchasing the ink directly from Epson but I now buy a knock off brand from Amazon that costs a LOT less and which I haven't had any issues with at all. I love it!

I had a wide format Epson years ago and those big prints use up a TON of ink. TBH if I was in the market for a wide format printer today I would look for one that is compatible with an external ink tank.
