1. Which book is your favorite?
2. Have you taken your books apart and put them in photo # order instead? If so, any regrets?
Thank you,

I haven't bought any books but I do have a ton of their downloads. I have a binder and put them in order by number of photos. It works perfectly for me!

I do not have a favorite because I have taken them all apart and put them in a huge binder by # of photos. But to be honest most of them I bought a digital copy and the ones I have a physical copy I photo copied the sketches first and then put them in the binder. It works great because that is the way I use them.

I only have a couple of the sketch books. But I have printed out many sketches from various places online, and sorting them by number of photos works great for me.

Mine are in a big binder too. I think I have almost all of SGs books. No regrets splitting them up. So much easier to flip through a big binder instead of several books. I have a couple of favorites, the Christmas one, the travel one (lots of 4x6) and the most recent one. I love the color layouts in the Christmas and whole picture one. I also use a lot of simple stories so sketch fusion & sketch magic are both great

I left mine as books and just use one book here and there for inspiration. I have considered taking the, apart but think I'd regret it.

I think I love the 4x6 book the best. I bought e-versions of all but one book & I have them all sorted by number of photos into one notebook. I love their sketch books!

I have several of their books and I took them apart and sorted them by picture # . No regrets taking them apart at all, but honestly, I haven't used them in years. I tend to look at pinterest or instagram for inspiration and now that I do Project Life, I don't do nearly as many multi photo LOs. Edited to add that if I was only going to buy one, I'd get the 4x6 one since that's the print size I use the most.

I run a copy of each page and then will toss the copy in a page kit when I am creating one. I do this with pictures of layouts off of Pinterest too. I keep the loose copies in a baggie. I also have an older 3 ringed binder with tons of pages of magazine pictures that will use 1-10 photos or themes.

Every single one is my favorite! Most of mine, with the exception of the travel book (the older version, not the newest eBook) and the 4x6 book are digital so I just kept them together..

I love all of them! I am so glad you can now buy them in e-book format.
The first sketchbooks- I photocopied all of them and then re- sorted then into how many photos each sketch used. I then bound them into a new book and designed a simple cover that says 6 photos etc. I find this most useful to me- to be honest I rarely use little photos so the 11/12 photo sketches are not used at all. My favourites are the one sketch book and the 4 x 6 one as I tend to use this size a lot. The travel one has several options for each sketch- which I like as I often use big photos for my holiday albums.

1. Which book is your favorite?I think I'd have to say The Travel Book is my favorite, because those sketches are "more traditional" and all of the photos are 4x6. I love The Whole Picture, also, but TTB I think has the softest spot in my heart. 2. Have you taken your books apart and put them in photo # order instead? If so, any regrets?I have taken all of my books apart and put them in photo order. Full disclosure: I own them all and I love SG sketches and it's really the only way I scrap anymore. I have binders that hold all of my sketches. Also, full disclosure: I own PDF versions of all of the books and I have organized these in Evernote. I use TAGS to label them by PHOTO NUMBER, so I can search for EIGHT, for instance, and see all of my 8 photo sketches. Then when I find one I like, I will usually pull the paper copy out of my EIGHT binder, and put it on my desk for reference. I will usually use a light pencil to write the measures ON the sketch so that as I cut, it's clear what is what. That also lets me know later that I have "used that sketch" when I happen upon it again.... IMG_8247 by Penny{scraps} G, on Flickr

Oh, and just watched your craft room tour on YT the other day! Beautiful! I recognize your cabinets! So tonight I took apart all 15 of my SG books, ran them through the copier, and put them in number of photo categories. Now I have about 400 layouts arranged according to number of photos. I am always great at organizing when I need to get some scrapping done! My favorite book is their most current one. Scrapping 4 x 6. ETA: The binding was really easy to take out, run through the copier and then put the spiral binding back in. I got all 15 books copied/organized in about 2 hours.

My friends love to use my books at crops, so maybe keep them on the shelf and bring one or two to a crop. I always plan before a crop, so I won't need them myself.

Just wondering when I'll need to get bigger binders. There's always a new one in the works...LOL! It's just that sometimes we're speedier than other times! The Whole Picture (exclusively 4x6 photos) seems to be the most requested one for a second volume. Plus, I'm wanting to do one that features mainly 4x4 photos.

Thanks I just looked at this. It is just 4x6 photos which is why it wasn't on my radar. I typically only do one 4x6 photo with smaller support photos vs several 4x6 photos. I'd love a one page LO book that used only 4x6, 3x4, 2x3, 2x2 and/or 4x4 photos but not pocket scrapping. Basically all the typical photo sizes you get from making collages on a 4x6 base.
