What program do you use to print your photos?
I have an Epson Picturemate Show (the one before it was wireless). On my iMac upstairs I use something called Epson Easy Picture. I am trying to find that on my MacBook downstairs and can't find a good download for it. Has it been discontinued?
What else can I download to print photos on my MacBook?

I just use the native printer app that is on the mac. All I need is the printer driver. Through the one printer app I can access all my printers - Epson Charm, Canon MPIX, and Canon Selphy. But if your Epson has any special functions, templates or filters, you probably need the Epson app. Did you try searching the Epson website?

I have the Epson Picturemate Charm (the smaller version in the same timeframe as the Show). I just print out of iPhotos or out of Photos. The PMS should be "plug and play" in those Apps, meaning if your Printer is plugged in via the port, the Mac should recognize it and it should appear in the list of printers to select when printing.

Once you have your printer recognized by the mac (usually through the driver, and you may need new drivers when the OS gets updated), you can select whichever printer you want to use from any program, like Photos. I don't even load the printer programs that come with my Canons or Epsons onto my laptop.

I am on a pc and print my photos directly out of the Windows picture viewer (after I edit online with picmonkey). My computer recognizes the printer just like my regular inkjet whenever I print. I actually set up a 5x7 document in word to print one of the pieces for my DD's birthday invites using my PM with white cardstock. But I do at least 90% of my printing with the epson app directly from my phone.

I print directly from Lightroom (or PSE or Word for printing journal cards.) I just pick the Epson Picturemate from the drop down menu in the print dialogue.

Hmmm. OK. I am going to have to do some more digging. I see my Epson Picturemate in my System Preferences. I've checked everywhere and cant find a good download for Easy Picture Share like I use upstairs. I like that app because it makes printing 2 3x4 on one 4x6 sheet so easy.

Well crap. I found my manual and it looks like I am needing the CD that came with it. And guess what I can't find? Yeah, I have every manual and CD for every electronic device except for this one. Its here somewhere.
