I have a package that is close enough that I could drive 40 minutes and pick it up myself...but the tracking says it won't be here until July 28th. It's been shipped by Fed Ex. I am guessing it will be transferred to USPS? Otherwise I don't understand how it's going to take a week to get here. Good thing it's just albums though, and nothing exciting  |

I believe they do. But also, FedEx is a pain in the ass. I ordered from Becky Higgins' site once and it said it would take a week...I'm 6 hours away and usually things from Utah don't take but a day or two. The VERY NEXT DAY the item was in my city and I thought 'see? I told you it wouldn't take a week' and they proceeded to sent it to 2 more states before circling back here and then another 2 days before it was handed over to the PO...initially it was projected to end up a day late, but it ended up arriving the day they said it would in the first place. Talk about a waste of resources! The last time I ordered, it came USPS priority, so maybe a lot of other people had the same or similar gripes as I did?
I was expecting as much when I ordered during the Prime Day sale competition that Michael's did and it ended up delivered by UPS. I was surprised. I'm not sure if it was just because I ordered two very small things (just copic refills) or if that is their standard as I've never bought online with them. But it still went ground and took about a week to get here (which isn't the best because it's summer and traveled along the southern states which are notably hotter than the north, but nothing appears to have evaporated from the containers).

Yep. My J's orders have taken FOREVER to get to me from 10 min away. I quit ordering from them a while ago.

Yes, FedEx to post office. I got mine on Wednesday but actually, it was earlier than expected.

Shipping has been updated, it will be here tomorrow and not next Saturday. The package went from 40 miles away, drove past my house by less than 1/2 a mile to a mail processing center 3 hours from here. Smart Post is not very smart...
