All doors are open, no kids just Dh and I and the dog. She is usually our shadow. The guest room stays partially closed mostly right now because I have boxes from our deceased parents in there and haven't had the heart yet to go in there and oraganize it.

All doors are always open unless both tvs are on and then I close the bedroom door.
And people will usually close the bathroom door when they go to the bathroom. Although, honestly not always, lol.

No children in the home.
All closet doors are closed (except on occasion one of us will leave our closet door open) All bathroom doors are open. All bedroom doors are open. Door between dining room and kitchen is open.

All doors closed. Prevents unexpected canine adventure. (Exception: master bath and closet are usually open, because dogs can't make it past the closed bedroom door.)

Just me and a couple of asshole cats, and I am not a big fan of closed doors...so pretty much all doors are open at all times. I always have an audience when I get out the shower.

Bedroom, bathroom, craft room doors are open all the time. Exception is my bedroom door in winter to keep the heat in and door between kitchen/dining room and hallway to keep the cat in one area of the house while I'm at work - otherwise she'll set off the alarm.

The only interior doors that are closed all of the time are the laundry room door, the pantry door, and all closet doors.
Every other door depends on time of year, who is home, who is doing what, etc.

Bathroom on the main floor, pantry & the door to the basement (unless my husband is down there watching a movie or playing video games) are always closed to keep a naughty dog out of things. Upstairs my daughters door is closed at night, and I close it if she's not home. It's a gigantic pit and I don't want the dog in there, she loves to eat stuffed animals and knit hats, and since it looks like everything my daughter owns is on her floor, there's plenty of of them laying around. My son closes his door if he's not home. We keep a baby gate at the top of the stairs during the day and we put it in the doorway to the master bathroom at night to keep Senna out of there (she sleeps with us).

When we are home pretty much all doors are open. When we are away we close the bedrooms to the dogs because they like phone charger cords and sneaking on the beds (where they are not allowed) while we are gone. When we have guests over the bedrooms are all closed because personal space (and messy people lol)

All doors are open, except closet and pantry. I don't like closed doors.

All doors open all the time. Unless I have company and need to close off a messy room...

My dog would throw a FIT (barking, whining) if he couldn't get into a room he wanted in to. And it's not like he actually wants or needs in the room, he just wants to have the option. But he's not spoiled. No siree.

The closet door in the guest bedroom and two hall closets are always closed. Everything else is almost always open. I do close my bedroom door when I am expecting company as it opens into the living room

All closets always closed. All doors always opened, though the guest bathroom is usually just ajar, and the utility room is open just enough for the cats to squeeze in and use the litter box. I live alone and don't typically have much in the way of messes, so when people stop by I don't close anything off.

I like my doors all closed at all times if possible. We do leave our master bathroom door open at night so the dog can go in and lay down on the cool tile. I don't like it but I deal.

On the main floor, there's only a door to the closet which is actually my craft closet. That's rarely closed except when we're not home. I put my craft trash can (which never has food in it) in the closet and close it because the beagle found one wrapper one time and now dumps it out if we're gone for more than a couple hours. It's a pita to clean up threads and scraps so we shut it the closet. There used to be a door to the kitchen and the basement. Those are gone now.
Upstairs, our room is always closed. I'm not allergic to the animals but I will itch like crazy if there's animal hair in our bed. We started keeping it closed to see if that helped with the nighttime itching. It stopped almost completely so the door stays shut unless I'm washing the sheets. The boys keep their doors shut most of the time. The bathroom door is always open unless someone is occupying it.

My closet and cabinet doors are always closed. I don't want to look at junk in closets. All my other doors, including my front and back door are wide open from dawn to late at night, as are all my windows, even in the dead of winter. We only close the front and back door when we go to bed. I don't have screens on my doors either. I like the breeze that blows through my house all day. I am constantly washing curtains as they get really grimy but it is so worth the work to have that breeze and open fresh feeling. where do you live that climate allows this? Sounds lovely except when below zero in snowing winter or above 90 and humid as hell not to mention mosquitoes, mosquitoes and more mosquitoes after the record rain we've had. I am imaging you in perfect-weather-no-bug-land and I admit, I am jealous.

We are a few miles from the beach and we get an ocean breeze every day. We don't have a lot of bugs either. However, my house always has dust but it's worth it. It has to be really cold before I close up the house. Even in January and February it is usually comfortable with the doors and windows open. On really cold days I sometimes close the house after an hour or so. Our drought out here has finally ended and last winter we sat here with pouring rain and all the windows and doors open enjoying it.

One open, one closed (there are only two doors downstairs). The closed door is a coat closet and the door opens out, so it blocks the hall if it's open. Bathroom door open so we know the bathroom is available and a kid hasn't done something in there and locked the door to hide it (DS likes to stuff things down the sink drain).
Upstairs doors are open for air circulation (only one room has AC and I'm trying to spread it down the hallway).

Bathroom doors are closed whilst using, hallway closets are closed, most other doors just stay open most of the time. Sometimes kids close bedroom doors to hide messes. I don't bother, if you are close enough to see inside my house you can see my house as it is.
