"she has a body like a backhoe?" "And why is he driving it with his eyes closed?" Yes, the question I just asked my flabbergasted children. I still wouldn't want a body like a back road, but it makes a little more sense.

And just what was in your morning coffee? I can understand why your children were flabbergasted! Sounds like the lyrics to a country song.

Lumpy, bumpy, random tufts of turf and a few potholes?

I thought it was backhoe too when I first heard it! This makes me feel so much better!
I also thought he was going 50 in a 30, but not being in a hurry, that line made no sense either!

Lumpy, bumpy, random tufts of turf and a few potholes? And THIS makes me feel that much better than having no curves like those downtown streets.

You have made me feel so much better too! It doesn't help that, in my car, my media screen cuts Sirius/XM's title of the song at "Body like a Back" - so I thought I was right.

I hate that song. The man who sings it had horrible enunciation.

I hate that song. The man who sings it had horrible enunciation. Not a fan either. My kids like to listen to Hits 1 and it's on all time. Except when they are playing Ed Sheeran or Chainsmokers.

It is a country song and, seriously, it sounds like back hoe. And it's not really back hoe? You must tell us what the real lyrics are! My newest song with misheard lyrics is Attention by Charlie Puth. For weeks I just couldn't figure out why she was "runnin' around throwing a turtle on my knee". I mean I like Charlie Puth and all, but that was just a strange line. Turns out she was "throwing dirt all over my name".

Is it really a country song? I had no idea, I don't listen to country music, but they play that song on the pop/current music station here.
Guess that explains why I'm not familiar with the artist.

I've never heard of him either. It sure sounds like a country song - I just assumed it was. I don't listen to it either. I barely tolerate Hits 1.

I had to look this up. Sam Hunt is indeed a country singer. I've heard the name but that's about all. Body like a back road is the least of the problems with those lyrics! What about this line ?
"Had to get her number, it took me like six weeks Now me and her go way back like Cadillac seats"
Now I remember why I quit listening to country several years ago!

I like Sam Hunt! he's of the rocky country mix, so a lot of the traditional country fans don't like him. If you want to hear bad lyrics Google FGL.

Omg! Me too - It sounds just like Turtle on my knee. I had to ask my kids what he was saying. They laughed at what I thought it was.

Well, if I go back a few ( many ) years there was the time I thought he said 400 children
'You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille 4 hungry children and a crop in the field'
There are a lot of hard to hear words in old time country music That's why I like Dolly so much she usually enunciates clearly.
I was about 13 and I said to my parents ' dang I don't know how she got to 400 I'd have left by 10' cracked my parents up
