I have the ResMed S9. It's the one my sleep doc prescribed and only one I've ever used. It works great at home and it's fairly easy to travel with. I purchased the battery pack so I could take it dry camping (no electricity) and still use CPAP, although the battery pack won't support the humidifier.
Transcend has a smaller travel machine that I'm thinking about purchasing.

I have never been given a choice. Mine is covered by insurance so I get whatever one is on the insurance formulary at the time I need to replace it. The current one is a Fisher & Playkel. I've had this one about 7 years. The rubbery plastic on the start button has cracked up and the water cup for the humidifier had discolored. I'm thinking it is time to replace it.
The previous one is a REMstar. I used it full time for nearly 10 years and still use it when I travel. It did not have a humidifier on it which was fine when I lived in Hawaii with the higher humidity levels. After I moved to Oklahoma where the air is much drier in the winter months I started having frequent nose bleeds so my doc ordered one with a humidifier on it. The REMstar is 17 years old and still runs just fine and looks practically new.
