I'd like to get the daycare center my kids have gone to for 6 years a thank you gift, my kids are moving up to elementary school. What would be a good idea to give the center as a whole? a bouquet of flowers, gift card for the local pizza place so they can get pizzas for lunch, a box of chocolates? any other ideas or something you have given...

Books for the classrooms is my standard gift. I then give the teacher a card and a gift card. Our last move I gave the teachers little succulent plants in cute goodwill bowls, tea cups, etc. They turned out so cute and they all loved them. Of course they are all gracious saints so who knows how they really felt.

I think something the daycare could use...books would be my gift of choice also.

We're military and my kids were in 3 different preschools. I also give books or playground equipment. I gave our last preschool a trike when we left. That was the best preschool ever!
