I don't know guys, I maybe need that. I'm a terrible cutter for notching, I always end up ruining my tape.

Yeah, that's just silly. I would have no need for that.I don't use my washi like that, anyway. I always just tear it with my fingers. Right...I'm too lazy to bother with scissors the rare times I use washi, let alone this complicated contraption!

That was my favorite part of the demo. It wasn't perfectly cut. . I just looked at her finished product and thought ewww. I couldn't even watch the whole thing. It was too boring. Ha, I agree!

I'm pretty basic with my tools so I'll pass. Now if they came out with a 3 hole punch, that is on my shopping list... They have a planner punch - I've seen it at my Michael's and at Hobby Lobby. I'm planning to get it - you can buy alternate punch cartridges to change the type of hole it punches, and you can set it up for different configurations of planners.

I did buy that - and the punch cartridges for spiral and disc bound systems. It's not as easy to use as I'd like (I have trouble lining up punches correctly at times) but it's quite functional and works.

I like taking several strips of matching washi and put them next to each other on white cardstock and then punch a shape. It adds a lot of interest to the shape. I bought a huge pack of washi last week at Michaels just to get the darn flamingo washi. It is mostly pink/gold in color. I'd never use it up if I didn't use it different ways. Who am I kidding, I don't think I have ever use a whole roll of washi unless it was glitter washi!

Also, you could try folding the end of the tape in half lengthways, sticky side out, then just make a single diagonal cut - I do this occasionally if I want to be sure of getting a symmetrical notch/point! Can be a bit fiddly depending on the width of the tape, but generally works fine for me.
