I love tools. I was excited to see a new tool out there I hadn't even heard about. Then I watched the demo and thought... huh, does anyone need this? Perhaps it is just me, but I really don't get this Washi Chomper tool. In a pinch, I have put washi on cardstock and put it through a punch, but even her demo doesn't look better than my scissors. www.youtube.com/watch?v=F46OMbyVIUA

"No more sticky scissors." Dude, that's why I have those cutterbees with the teflon coating, remember?

That is just silly, it looks like it takes 4x longer then just using scissors. Even sticky scissors looks easier and less fiddley then that tool.

Who the heck is MSP?
Anyway, I've had my coated Fiskars scissors for a long time that keeps the scissors from getting sticky. Have two pair.

At least this demo shows how that tool REALLY works! I hate falling in love with a tool that looks so easy to use in the demo, then bringing it home and going crazy trying to use it.

Wow, that looks really complicated just to use on washi tape!

Who the heck is MSP? I believe it is referencing My Sweet Petunia, the maker of the Misti, who was suing other companies making stamping platforms .

No, this tool will not be coming home with me. It takes me a few second to cut an arrow or a notch out of my washi tape, and I think I've only done that a handful of times... definitely not enough to warrant a fancy tool that looks complicated to use.

Pass. And if they are targeting the planner crowd, they should have made it smaller.

"No more sticky scissors." Dude, that's why I have those cutterbees with the teflon coating, remember? Me too! Wow, that looks really complicated just to use on washi tape! I know! Seriously, it takes me a second to snip washi tape into little flags, points, arrows, etc. It would drive me nuts to set up a whole tool just to do that.

WRMK has come out with so many "one" use tools. This is one of those. I'll keep cutting my tape with scissors.

I'm pretty basic with my tools so I'll pass. Now if they came out with a 3 hole punch, that is on my shopping list...

Ha ha! If it did, I'd be tempted...NOT. That looks way too involved. Scissors work fine.

OK washi isn't that sticky to begin with...so after manhandling it a lot isn't it going to be even less sticky

Yeah, that's just silly. I would have no need for that.I don't use my washi like that, anyway. I always just tear it with my fingers.

Is this somehow different from a regular three hole punch you could get at an office supply store? If you need one that is even less heavy duty, you can probably find a cheap one at an office supply store right now for back to school. I saw one at office max last week. Plastic, and just $4.29 without being on sale (which it was apparently supposed to be, for $1.)

I bought a sticker sheet at Michael's that has a ton of arrows on it. I'm good for probably at least a year.
