I asked this awhile back on the stamping board and got zero replies, so I thought I'd ask here.
Thanks for any help you can give.

The only store I am aware of that carries a lot of stamps is Personal Scrapbook in Allen, but I haven't been there in years. Last I heard, it was more of a class/scrap/crop place, that sold some supplies. There is a scrapbook store in Keller (Soon to be moving to N Richland Hills) that carries SOME, but not a ton. Little Blue House
I'm not a stamper, though, so there could be other stores that carry more stamps that I am not aware of. I would think you'd have a lot better luck finding exactly what you want online.

These are scrapbook stores I know of: Personal Scrapbook in Allen, TX - Greenville at Exchange www.personal-scrapbook.com/My Scrap Haven in Frisco, TX - Preston one block north of Warren www.myscraphaven.com/The Crafty Scrappper in Waxahachie, TX - www.thecraftyscrapper.com/I have only been to 2 of the 3 (the last one listed), and haven't been to that one since May 2015, but I am on that email list and know that it is still alive and kicking. The first two are relatively new. TCS does carry a lot of stamping stuff. Not sure on the other two.

I have been to at least one of the first two listed. More reason to make the long drive to the Crafty Scrapper, which is an hour and 15 minute drive according to the GPS.
I have mostly bought at conventions for the last two years, and recently have done a little online buying.
Thanks!

There are a lot of fun shops on the town square in Waxahachie and you can have a fun "chick lunch" at The Dove's Nest. When I go, I always try to make a day of it. Breaks up the driving....

I've been to the Crafty Scrapper. She has a ton of things for stamping, mixed media.

HTH. Carolyn Ross is the owner of TCS and she's a jewel. She expanded the store about 2.5 years ago and moved to a bigger shop that looks right at the beautiful limestone courthouse. If you go with someone and want a nice dinner, there is a "haunted" restaurant called The Catfish Plantation that serves up some good homestyle cooking. Don't go there if you're in a hurry though!

Also good to know. I have a former scrapping buddy coming to visit at the end of September. I think we will make a day of it in Waxahachie when she comes.

The Crafty Scrapper was so worth the drive from Dallas to me. Her store is bright, clean, and has a large variety of happiness for all types of scrappy people. She had LOTS of Tim Holtz products and so much patterned paper! She had some stamps but I didn't pay much attention to that since It was before I got my stamping platform and just seem to suck at it. Her store was very much in business but you can't go there expecting to get all the newest releases...she only had bits and pieces of the spring/Easter products of a few collections when I was there in March. I loved all the options and how the scrappy stuff was set up by theme. She had tables set up in the back for classes/crops too. And it was awesome being able to support a small business. I think she also said that she ships (i may be confusing this bit with the store right outside of Galveston, also worth the trip if you will be anywhere nearby).
have you made it out to that huge TM yet?

Another vote for the Crafty Scrapper. I am disappointed she doesn't carry new releases (I feel like she use to have more) but she has a fair amount of stamps (particularly Tim Holtz & Dina Weakly). They will special order stuff for you last time I checked. She's brought in some big names from the mixed media world for classes over the last few years & has tons of mixed media supplies.

I have been to the big TM, as well as another that runs a close second for size.
The selection at the biggest TM was minimal the day I went. They had a lot of one or two different paper pads, but nothing of interest. I tried the second biggest and struck out, too.
I think timing is everything, though. The first time I found the second biggest TM, I hit the jackpot for papers.
