Between the partnership ending with SU and not seeing anything new scrapbook related (other than existing physical kits making it to the digital and app stores) in a while. I'm curious if BH is changing gears because so many people are doing her thing that she feels like the market is oversaturated. She's been pushing the app over anything else for years now...so...I don't know what's going on.

Didn't Gather by Maggie Holmes come out as a physical core kit just last week or so? There are likely more but I just can't be bothered to keep up with official Project Life products these days. Pretty sure they'll still bring out paper core kits although I think it's time to start working on a better variety of cards and designs in those big physical product kits to make them a better investment (Liz Tamanaha's 365 Fresh edition was a good start but still needs more actual designs although the journaling sides were definitely a step up as far as I'm concerned).

I think Gather has been out at Hobby Lobby here in the US for several months (maybe last fall sometime?).

I think Gather has been out at Hobby Lobby here in the US for several months (maybe last fall sometime?). As a paper collection for Crate Paper yes. As a PL core kit, I think it was first released this Spring? And it's only now trickling down to major vendors (HL and Becky Higgin's online store probably had it first). I just checked and the official unboxing video on BH's YT channel is from mid-March. So, yeah, it's actually been a while but not that long either. BH has strange release dates and is never quite in tune with the rest of the scrapbook world release calendar. She did mention in one of her YT chatty videos from earlier this year in which she answered social media questions that they'd continue to bring out physical product. It seems to worry quite a few of her customers.

It seems to worry quite a few of her customers. Yep...I was referring to the core kit, too. It might have been closer to January. Other than Currently (Expo in November) I haven't bought a physical core kit in eons (I prefer the app because I can get square corners and I'm actually more likely to look at the app and print things I want than I am likely to dig through a core kit that is stored on top of my 5x5 kallax unit and difficult to reach...closer to instant gratification for me), so I don't really pay too close attention, but I notice it in store because sometimes a few new things signals that new things are coming for the whole department...if nothing new and exciting ends up coming out, however, I may not remember the timeline as clearly. Sometimes January brings new things to HL and sometimes it's April. I think a lot of it has to do with production because they do carry some mainstream manufacturers so if there is a delay with them, there is a delay in them putting new stuff out. For instance, the paper usually changes at least once a year (no more than 12 months apart) and this month is the first time I've seen change in the paper in over a year and a half and that is just from Instagram...it hasn't hit my side of the country, yet, but I knew it was coming before the IG posts because half the aisle is empty and full of 'out of stock' backers or what they do have left has been spread out to fill the spaces that would otherwise be empty.
