Do you ever think what/who designed this and what the heck?
So after you all enabled me to get the Tab punch board I had to go get this little gem. I am a huge fan of mini binders and although I have two 3-hole punches in the house, I refuse to go back and forth to change the slots because it is too much of a pain - and the kids seem to need them whenever I have done that so I thought of course I had to have this and plus it can do so much more.
But OMG who thought up the design of this? Because am I alone in the fact that the inside slots could have held the original 5 punches if they only made the punch board a tad bit longer? The 4 punches fit in perfectly to store inside but then there's the 5th one, hanging out solo. What the hey. Looking online they say they lock together for easy storage, well who wants to do that? I don't that is for sure and that's just - ? Ridiculous.
Anyway store my craft supplies on a huge heavyduty bookcase and have to have everything contained in something. Most of my punch boards/cutters etc stand on one end but I felt a little iffy about the Tab punch board because of that little peg so I put it inside one of those binder pouches you get for kids pencils and stuff inside a binder, so I figured that would be a smart idea for the Planner board too and turns out it works out great! The clear one from Target fits it perfectly, and I feel justified I got so many last year when they were out for school supplies even though the kids said they didn't need any I got them, yay me!
So just wondering if I was alone in this design baffle when I got it. I guess also since there are other punches for disc and spiral maybe they wouldn't want people to get too happy with just the one set so they made it so that since you have to bag it/box it up anyway you may as well get the other punches.
On a positive note I am happy with both of them AND I used my 40% off coupon earlier in the week for the Tab one and the 50% off yesterday for the planner one so I am pretty happy since I am one of those people that forgets my coupon but both times the cashier helped me find them on my phone. A+ for Michaels this week.
