Just checked it out. I really like the way she layered the papers. I also like that it's only about 11 minutes long while still being an informative mini-class.

Can I just say this... I love that layout and watching her video cracks me up.. it's like "I'll do this and that and this and that" and there you go, wham bam.. A beautiful layout. That would probably take me HOURS if not days to create... LOL...

Very nice. I wish I could crop with her so she could show me how to layer embellishments.

So cool to see her working with her own products she designed!. That's got to be a dream come true! And to use them to make pages about Wonder Boy....can't.stand.the.cuteness! It did occur to me that part of the reason why the video was so much shorter was because she's not having to sell anymore, so no lengthy overview of all the papers used and if they're on sale or in stock in the store, etc.

Uh un, no way, nothing gets stuck down until I'm absolutely sure. I'm a big ol' chicken. Lol OP, thanks for sharing. I'm going to watch it while I (hopefully) scrap tomorrow. I have quite a few pieces of her line, and I can tell you this: as good as it looks on the screen, it looks that much better in person. Don't get the wrong idea, I haven't used any of it yet, but it's really pretty to look at. Lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

FurryP, well yes, obviously. What I meant was that she's no longer shilling for 2Peas, so she doesn't have to spend ten minutes of every video going through every single manufacturer of every thing she uses on a LO and whether or not it's in stock in the store and if it's on sale, etc. It just seems to me that the average length of her videos featuring her line or ones she did that weren't affiliated with 2Peas (such as her Starting Point series, for instance) are significantly shorter.

I love this layout and the symmetry. My layouts (before project life) would always be balanced and symmetrical. Then the trend came where the pictures started getting all wonky and staggered. I'm waiting for symmetry and grids to come back......kinda like waiting for a trend to come back in style. I've got my gold lame ready to go!

For some people (Cathy Zielske comes to mind), the symmetry never left! A lot of the Scrapbook Generation sketches are symmetrical (or could be adapted that way) also. And gold is totally back!

I am eagerly waiting for a new class or something from Shimelle. I miss Glitter Girl and the Best of Both Worlds kits/layouts. In the meantime, I just re-watch her videos.

I found her 48 page paper pad in the special American Craft promotion area at AC Moore today. I think it was priced $6.88. I was surprised to find it since it was a new release.

I saw her line in a LSS and they were much whiter. Also I'm not much into layouts anymore......just mini albums and the papers didn't scream " make a album with this!"

That may be a good reason to check out ACM, especially since I'll be close to one later today.
