Gendry is no longer rowing!!!
Quite the group headed north of the wall.
Did anyone else catch what Gilly was saying to Sam before he cut her off? I think her good memory, evidenced by her ability to recite the number of steps again, will come into play later.
What was the note Littlerfinger had in his room?

I was very excited to see Gendry for some odd reason lol. And I was yelling at Sam to shut up and listen to what she said!!!!! UGH men somedays I swear Littlefinger is setting Arya up...Im not sure how, but he has played this game way longer than she has and while she is good, she's more arrogant than he is. I don't like this. Maybe he is setting sister against sister? It wouldn't be hard to do

What was Sam reading about the annulment and secret remarriage in Dorne? I thought he said it was about Prince Rheagar. If so, could that have involved Lyanna? Wasn't Rhaegar Jon's father? Or was he Jon's grandfather?
Daytime dramas' convoluted family trees are nothing compared to GOT LOL!
Was it Sam that was reading about the annulment or Gilly? I'm going to have to watch it again.

Remember when he and Arya kind of liked each other? Maybe she could be a little less creepy assassin if he was around. And I am so happy to see it wasn't just a Hot Pie style cameo, he is actually part of the action. I had to get out a Targaryen family tree to explain the big revelation to DH. He finds the whole R+L=J very confusing, but I think seeing the family tree has got it clear for him. Oh, and I loved when Davos said something about how it was nice to see that Gendry wasn't still rowing!

Gilly was reading about Rhaegar getting his marriage annulled and getting secretly married in Dorne. Dorne is where Lyanna gave birth to Jon.
So this makes Jon the legitimate heir to the Iron throne. Rhaegar was the mad king's heir and Jon is his heir.

And Jon pet the dragon. My favorite part of the whole episode.
I love the bad-ass crew going beyond the wall. I don't know how they will catch a dead thing though.
Ick to Cersi being pregnant again, if she is.
Time travels at warp speed this season.
Little finger will get the wrath of Arya at some poing.

Jon petting the dragon was the best part of the episode too. I just love all the detail they put into the dragons. I'm too tired to do a search for a screen cap of the note that Arya found. I'd like to read it though.

The scroll that Arya found was the letter that Cersei made Sansa write to Robb back in Season 1 telling him their father was guilty of treason and Robb needed to come to King's Landing and pledge support to Joffrey. Robb figured out she was forced to write it, but Arya doesn't know that - so yes, Littlefinger is trying to drive a wedge between the two sisters. ETA: The letter explained

Not as much action as the last episode, but lots of convergences of characters and story lines.
I liked the scene where Jon meets the dragon: like approaching a big dog--or direwolf, I guess.
I also liked Gendry's meeting with Jon: tell the truth, get right to the point, and move on. Jon has quite a team heading north of the wall.
And where is Sam going? Will he be meeting up with them as well?

Jon has quite a team heading north of the wall. I liked when they all came together at the cell at Eastwatch. What a random group of men.

I was glad to see the hound. Since I binge watched starting with first season finale, I don't hate him.
I think jora knows his queen needs to be with the king of the north and that is why he bowed out so gracefully.

I'm calling Jon's group The Fellowship of the Dead. I kept saying to myself "nice doggy, nice doggy" when Jon was petting Drogon. Lots of not-so-subtle looks there between Dany, Jon, and Jorah. I think Jorah knows he still doesn't have a chance with Dany. So is Cersei really pregnant, or just trying to keep Jaime at her side?

Rhaegar was married to Elia Martell but that marriage was annulled so he could marry Lyanna Stark - Lyanna gave birth to Jon in the Tower of Joy and gave the baby to her brother Ned Stark to raise as his bastard. On her death bed in child birth Lyanna made Ned promise not to reveal Jon's real name of Aegon Targaryen to keep him safe, just as Danyerys and her brother were taken overseas as babies to protect them as well. Once Jamie Lannister had killed mad king Aerys [ Danyerys ,Viserys and Rhaegars father ] and Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark fought to take the iron throne from the Targaryens ,Lyanna was worried they would kill her baby as heir to the Targaryen's Or course , that means Dany is Jon's aunt- she obviously suspects something is up because of Drogon's reaction to Jon .........I need to engage in more fruitful use of my time instead of spending it in Westeros...obviously.....!!!!!

I think it's a possibility, because Qyburn said, "I can give you something to take care of that," right before Jamie walks in (and Qyburn gives him a strange look); then Cersei tells him. I don't think it will live, though.

I'm so glad Jaime's alive! I was half convinced he was a goner after last week's episode.
My favorite part of tonight's episode was definitely Jon petting Drogon. That was so cool plus seeing the up close details the CGI folks put into him is amazing.
I'm not entirely convinced that Cersei is pregnant. If she is, I don't think the baby will live. Wasn't part of the whole Valonquar prophecy thing that she would have three children and all of them would die?

Cersei will either miscarry or abort to get back at Jamie.
I hope she doesn't make Jamie kill Bronn.

Aegon is Rhaegar's son with Elia Martell. He was killed during Robert's rebellion. There is speculation in the book that he did not die. However, this far into the show, i don't think they will introduce this twist.

Yes, Jon and Dany are close to the same age. I believe she's younger. Dany's parents are the Mad King and Rhaella who is both the MK's wife and sister. Here is the GOT wiki with a family tree. awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Daenerys_Targaryen

Targarygen family tree at the bottom of this wiki page. Mind you it is book based, not TV based and might have spoilers in the page. awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Daenerys_TargaryenThere is a huge gap between the oldest and the two youngest because there were 5 death/stillborns inbetween (probably due to that whole incest thing...)

Just FYI, you don't have to be on Twitter, have an account, or have the app to view Twitter. You can always do a google search for "Twitter ______ ------" whatever you're looking for and view the results on Twitter.

I've really liked this season so far. It's so different from last seasons where things are drawn out and take much longer, since there is only 1 season after this they seem to be packing in a lot more.
I loved seeing Gendry, loved seeing Tormund again, and love seeing the dragon (was that Drogon?) befriend Jon. There was so much about Jon that's always been a maybe and when everything was confirmed I was like YEA!!
Littefinger seriously creeps me out. I think Arya is going to confront Sansa and they will realize LF is playing them

Am I wrong in this? Didn't Littlefinger give Sansa to Ramsey so he could torture her in that horrendous marriage after she trusted Littlefinger to protect her? Since that's the case how can she even tolerate his presence at Winterfell? She's in charge now-kick his ass out! Could it be that he has her fooled that he was totally innocent and had no idea that Ramsey was such a cruel monster. Is she that much of an idiot that she totally believes him. I guess he is extremely manipulative and masterfully good at it that he can fool anyone.
I loved this episode too and as another Pea said especially how this season is going but will be super sad when it's over as it's the last one. I go back and forth on liking/hating Dany and last night I was in hate mode. Enough with the damn "bend that knee" crap! She's let power go to her pretty little blonde head and corrupt her mind. Instead of focusing on their world of what might become white walker domination and the end of human existence (with the King of the North right there giving first hand witness of what he's seen), she's worried that if she leaves the piece of land that's she's standing on Cersi might grab it in her absence. I wanted to shake her by the shoulders until the braids in her hair came undone and she gets some sense into her head. Don't you get it Dany?! If you don't use those 3 dragons and join this fight against the white walkers NOW there won't be any humans left to fight over any land with! Get that accomplished first! Kill all of the white walkers-win that war-and then we can relax and decide who gets to be queen or king of what.
Ugh! She drives me nuts. But hey, that's what makes great television. She's gonna be in for a rude awaking when it's discovered she's not the Queen after all, isn't she? Ha! Can't wait for that little bomb to drop. Especially after John was able to pet her precious Drogon. I always did like John-from season 1 I've liked him. Would love to see him come out as the King and have those great dragons be his as well. I've thought she didn't deserve them after that season she kept them chained up in the dark dungeon. Who does that to their precious children? I wouldn't do that to my cat or dog!
