Not quite sure where to start with it. Anyone else here a member and care to give me tips on how to get the most out of my membership?

I'm not familiar with this site, but it sounds intriguing. Please tell me more. Well, from what i understand there are classes, which look interesting, journaling prompts, organizational videos and such. THere's also a podcast, a facebook group and a HUGE number of sketches with accompanying layouts. There's a monthly magazine called Spark (online) which i do enjoy... I just don't quite know where to start!

I joined for a month...didn't feel it was worth the money so cancelled before the next month.
Wish I could help but good luck. Hope it is a better fit for you than it was for me. 😄

I joined a couple of years ago. The main purpose I joined was to get and stay inspired to scrap. Due to losing our home to a flood a year ago, I haven't been active, but the membership is worth if if you need advice and guidelines on working on what matters most to you at any given time. I have learned a lot. There are live classes as well as archived ones. My advice would be to go to the Membership Orientation page under Classrooms for guidance on where to begin. Hope this helps.

Yes, I've previously been a member (cancelled because my available time for scrapping decreased) but I found it useful. Depends on what you are looking for, but I really loved all the sketches available, and the Spark magazine. The story prompts are useful too if that's something that help gets you going... I'd definitely consider joining up again!

thank you stampartiste, i am sorry sorry for the loss of your home!! are you okay now? Thank you for your concern, mamakoala! We are almost finished rebuilding and will begin furnishing it again. It's been a long process, but we feel so fortunate. Several of our neighbors were not able to rebuild. Over 100,000 homes were flooded in last year's flood, so it's been difficult getting material and labor. Going through something like this definitely makes you more appreciative of family, friends, neighbors and home.

I just don't quite know where to start! That sounds like such a great resource. I have learned I don't do very well with those right now, working full time. I get most of my inspiration from the SG sketches and their FB Scrap Squad challenges. It suits me because it's free and I can play along as time allows. You'll have to share how you like it! I hope it works well for you!
