Meh.
Any analysis that blames Obama for what is going on today, under Trump, doesn't meet the critical thinking test, IMO.
Neo-Nazis, the KKK and other White Supremacists are 80%, at least, to blame.
Way too convenient, and well stupid, to blame a Black president for the inexcusable racist ideologies of the groups protesting in Charlottesville. Those people existed before Obama, decades and 1/2 centuries before. They fired up gas chambers, burned crosses, and lynched people.
Obama is a cheap and convenient excuse, and only believed by those too lazy to look at history and think for themselves.

National Review = right bias towards the conservative, so I take this "thought provoking" article with a grain of salt. I'm going to agree with elaine's post. It should not matter what political party one belongs to--the groups that demoralize, think that a race or ethnicity need to be abolished and eradicated from white man's presence, or those who promote and invite their base that it's all good, too, is morally and humanly wrong. These groups have been around and existed for decades. Until this last year, we did not hear much--they were fading and their voices weakened--until Trump came along, opened his big fucking mouth and made it a-OK 👌 for them to come out full force and spread their evil. If anyone believes that the KKK, white nationalists, neo-nazi's are a bunch of peachy keen all right people who should be allowed to enact their message, then you too fall in as deplorable. |

Oh and the only thing Obama did related to the "thought provoking" article linked, was be black.
He didn't incite and rally to abolish white people. His being black was the sole "incitement" towards these groups---the KKK, White Nationalists, neo-Nazi's.
Obama by far, was a better president in all accounts in comparison to the Orange buffoon in office right now.

Mystery Solved. I found the thread. It’s from 2017.
When I visit this place I do it through google. I put in “two peas refugees”, it gives me choices of what board I can choose. Since I spend a lot of time at NSBR it’s usually the first choice. Click on it and I’m here.
For some reason, in my group of choices, there is a second NSBR which when you click on it takes you way back, in this case, to page 849.
It would appear that when I clicked on NSBR I wasn’t paying attention and chose the second choice and ended up at page 849 instead of page 1, saw this thread. Thought it looked interesting, was getting ready to read the article but decided to do something first, closed my iPad which took me off the site. Came back, went to google, clicked on NSBR, this time the first one so it took me to page 1 of the board and no thread.
