Not a VW fan. They break alot and are expensive to fix

Love my Tiguan. Really love it. It's fast, comfortable, not enormous, great visibility... But, it's had a lot of issues. I'd like to have a new one but I could never buy one again.

My daughter has one and loves it. We have borrowed it for a week or so and I drove it. I much prefer the space that my Honda CRV offers. Headroom too low when entering. Not as big inside by a longshot.

When my duaghter's VW Jetta was totalled last March, she test drove a Tiguan. While we liked it, she still liked a Jetta better especially since it saved her life in a major accident. Her last VW Jetta was purchased brand new, and it was 5 years old when it was destroyed. Never, ever had a problem with that car. Her new Jetta is a 2016, and it's run perfectly since purchased also. I also grew up with German cars (VW, Mercedes, and Porsche). Never had a problem with them or the VWs either. I don't think you can go wrong. Check out their service department too. That's who you will be dealing with. Our department is AMAZING! Have fun with your decision!

I have a 2014 Tiguan (purchased in 2015 as a certified used vehicle), and I love it. The perfect size -- it's roomier than it looks. Juan (yes, he has a name) has plenty of zip, too. The service department at my local VW dealership is amazing...if I have to leave Juan there for the day, I can request a loaner car. The one time I had to do that, I got a new Tiguan to drive for the day!

I have a Touareg the big sister to Tiguan, & I love it. It is my second one. It's so comfortable & I love driving it.
