Apple just sent media invites this morning for an event on 9/9. Presumably the next iPhone will be announced then. Whether anything else will be - who knows. Historically, the phones are available about a week after announcement.

Apple just announced a press conference for September 9th. Rumors are it's for the iPhone 6 and iWatch unveil.

Im also holding out to see what it is because I need to upgrade soon. Hope it has a bigger screen like the Galaxy phones.

I don't care about the new iPhone. I have a 5s and still under contract so probably won't get the new one. But, I can't wait for the new iOS that is coming out. The feature to leave a group text is enough for me to want that upgrade as soon as possible.

YES I HATE group texts, they seem to go on and on and can't get away from it!! That would be worth it, that and a bigger screen! |

But I can not WAIT for the feature to leave group texts. They drive me NUTS! |

If all the predictions are true, I'll be getting a new iPhone 6 in a few weeks to replace my 4 that's having an issue! But I'll be sticking with the smaller screen.
DH has a Galaxy for work and I asked if they issued a backpack with it? Sucker is huge.

That thing is my dream - don't need to carry any kind of tab with me and it doesn't actually look too odd when you take a call on it. All iPhones, iPads here so will be looking at the iPhone 6 when it is launched. Don't think I want to go to the bigger screen though if the rumours are true and they do produce one.....but it will be interesting to look at!! |

Using an iPhone 4 or 4s (I can't recall) with a battery that's unhappy. So I'm eagerly awaiting the new iPhone. I've been putting off buying a new one for almost a year.

I have a 4S and am not really in any hurry to upgrade. However, if there is a new IOS introduced, I may have to as I strongly suspect they will not include the 4S in that upgrade. I do hope they offer the new phone in 2 sizes, as I am not interested in the larger screen. The 4S is compatible with iOS 8, but it's the oldest model that is, so it probably won't be a speed demon. iOS overview, including compatibility |

I have a 5s and depending on the size of the 6, I may pass on it. Pretty confirmed rumor, there are going to be 2. One with a 4.7 screen and the other with a 5.5. The 5.5, for me is a bit too big, however the 4.7? Give it to me NOW!!!!! |

I'll probably upgrade my 4s as soon as possible, if only because my lifeproof case is on it's last legs and I'm using an after market charger as it's almost impossible to find an apple one around here! What exactly is iWatch? I'm painfully out of touch these days.
