I am taking my 13 yr old DD (and another mom-daughter duo) to the One Direction / 5 Seconds of Summer concert at Soldier Field Saturday night! She is absolutely ecstatic about it. I am excited to be going to Chicago and enjoying a nice weekend, then I look at the weather forecast and it just keeps getting worse and worse!! Seriously, this is NOT GOOD!!! 80% chance of thunderstorms at an outdoor stadium . I have to think they could possibly cancel the concert. My DD wil be devastated if this happens. But, on a side note . . . Is anyone else going to be there?

Not me but I have a good friend in town with her 13 year and they have tickets for both nights. I am sure hoping the weather holds out for concerts. While forecasts are fairly accurate these days, things still change rapidly here. Don't panic yet!

I won't be at the concert but will be in Chicago. I'm also obsessively anxiously checking the weather because we are going to the White Sox game Saturday night. Also concerned about the Cubs game we are going to Monday.
I did not plan to pack rain gear!

Not Chicago, but two weeks from now in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl. My girls are so looking forward to it. One loves 1D and the other is a 5SOS girl.

I have tickets for an October show in Tampa FL. My DD turns 12 the 17th of October and this is one of her birthday presents. I haven't told her we're going yet but I hope that she's going to be excited. I bought the tickets at the end of last year and I think her obsession with 1D has waned a bit.
Sending good weather thoughts to you!

I'm taking my niece to see them at the Rose Bowl. A friend of mine saw the concert and said to bring ear plugs--not because of the music, but because of the screaming girls!
